So tired of a certain youtuber who will remain nameless; who only does HIGH END MAKEUP which I love and purchase all the time. But they 95% of the time LOVE EVERYTHING and after spending a lot of money on all the stuff she reviews to be "The Best" it is just to find out it is not that great at all!

Just have to share. I’ve been using Neulash for 5 weeks now and OMGOODNESS! My 57 year old eyes are now fringed with lovely, longer than before, lashes. Filled in my bald spots too ! I am so pleased ! Worth the money !!

Yi Zhuang I’ve bought them all I’m loving the Anastasia Beverly Hills it’s leaves no texture ! The Rihanna one goes extremely matte with time which is weird because it’s dewy at first and highly transferable!
I'm so glad to FINALLY hear an honest review. I'm sure others who liked did, but you could see that they were caught up in the hype.
I had the same experience with that foundation. It didn't blow me away, and after 6-8 hours, (and I don't set with much powder) it broke away and became very patchy and lifted from my skin. I got a few awful comments attacking me acting like I was hating on Auntie Pat🤦♀️🤪 Thank you for ALWAYS being honest, no matter what. Ooooh and I'm with you, I love the ABH foundation wayyy more than this one.. 🙌❤
I was worried about that as well!!! I literally was texting Kel telling her I was nervous about being attacked for not liking it but I had to put it up anyway. At the end of the day,.. not everything worked for everyone 🤷🏼♀️

Obviously most want the honesty, but those that don't it's bizarre. As a consumer, it's nice to have those honest youtubers that don't care about the brands, but care most about their subscribers and their integrity ❤ Mel is definitely one of them. ❤

Gotta admit, I’m confused why any brand would think a synthetic brush would justify that kinda price. Handmade natural hair brushes, I totally get...and I’ll pay that high price all day, as I’m paying for the quality & craftsmanship. Both TomFord & MAC have switched to synthetics, yet kept those prices exactly the same, that just irks me to no end .
I have been waiting for you to review this. I haven’t received my Pat McGrath system yet. (2 weeks and still waiting) My skin is dry and sensitive and I’m devastated that this didn’t work out for you because I have a feeling if it making you dry, it’s going to do no favours for my skin. On a brighter note, I think you’re a doll and you always look beautiful!! Love from Canada!!

I would rather sink my $$into skin CARE products. That’s a real investment in your skin. If your skin isn’t looking good it won’t matter how much you pay for your foundations and powders.

Thanks you for your honest review. Wow, for those prices the foundation better come with Bradley Cooper and a bottle of champagne🍾...lol! My holy grail foundation is Lancome Teinte Idole, but I definitely want to try the Anastasia. The brushes are ridiculous. I have a Mliani powder/bronzer brush that is wonderful and well made...Walmart. Also, the Sephora Pro brushes are great! Too many affordable options. Have a wonderful day! 💖

I really loved the foundation, it has a beautiful finish, and the powder made my skin look absolutely perfect. I apply the foundation with my fingers rather than brush or sponge though, and I haven't used a primer. Don't know if that's makes a difference. I've been really surprised by the reviews.

Thanks for the your honest review. Mel. I just got mine, yesterday, and I ordered it on the morning of the 26th when it dropped, so I know EXACTLY what you've been through, waiting, and waiting... I am about to go apply it for the first time, and I REALLY fear that my shade choice may be too light, now! I got shade 9(meant to get 10), and I'm a bit darker than you are. None of our Sephora's have been carrying ANY of the collection, so I was forced to go by the models and undertones on the PML website. I bought the ENTIRE System, including the brushes as well. Only because I'm a fan of Pat McGrath's line, so the brushes are for purely for sentimental reasons. I really hope this goes well, FOR ME, because while you and I do have some similarities in skin type and climate(I'm over in Memphis); I'm older than you, and my application methods are different...I absolutely DO NOT need to be aged...! So, thanks for the heads up on that! Great review, Mel! ❤️

Mel, I think you're going to need to do a foundation showdown after all these reviews! Thank you for sticking to your guns on this one. I find reviews in general a lot more valuable when I also know what does NOT work for a person, so thank you. I can't decide between the new CT foundation coming out, or the ABH. I tried the UD Stay Naked (got many samples) all week and it just doesn't work on my combo dehydrated skin, no matter what primer/moisturiser/powder I combine it with. Lasts all day and feels so incredibly lightweight but it applies patchy and almost immediately starts to crack along my jawline - where I'm not even dry. Couldn't find an acceptable match either. Super weird. But the Dior Forever Glow works amazingly for me, so I guess we win some and lose some. I am super excited to try the By Terry primer! Can't use her hydra powder under my eyes but it does absolute wonders for my face. Hope your face is coping with all the new stuff! So happy to see your review finally up! I was about to order the brushes but I may pass. I have that SK powder brush and love it. Primer is going back. Did nothing and made me greasy. Thanks for the honest review, Mel. I’m surprised by all the positive reviews on Sephora’s website. I question those that got it from influenster and posted a review because a lot of the reviews on RUclips seem to be like yours. There are some good ones, but mostly bad. I was excited about this launch. Wish it turned out better. I also emailed them about my order and they said they were sending it out and upgrading me to 2 day shipping for the inconvenience. They didn’t upgrade it. Which is fine, but they shouldn’t have told me they did.
Awesome review babe!! I do have a special place in my heart for real techniques only because they were like my very first brushes a million years ago and I still use a few of them in my everyday routine. That little setting brush is my bestie, I can use it for sooooo much more than setting. Do you follow Katie Jane Hughes? She uses small brushes for everything. Like she blends her foundation in with fluffy eyeshadow brushes and I freaking love it!!!! Thanks for saving me money on this one! 😘

The most expensive foundation I own and I wasn’t prepared to spend over $100 on this one too especially after hearing so many mixed reviews already!! Btw loving your eyelook !! I'm awaiting my second shipment today since I think I got the wrong color. But, I LOVED how it wore. I did not use the powder tho or their primer. I'm super dry as it is already and used my usual prep n prime that works for me. At around 4-5 hours in I felt it looked better than when I barely put it on. Plus, it didn't transfer. I'd recommend prepping with your usual items, not the system, and give it a go.
Mine looked much better hours later as well.
Did you go too dark or too light. I just ordered the foundation with the sale and I’m terrified I picked the wrong shade since I can’t go to stores to test my shades and I hate returning stuff lol

I love it. I stan Pat's foundation and concealer line! Best range of shades AND undertones in foundations and concealers in the market - Pat even remembered to represent olive undertones for light skin dark skin which is almost unheard of

I was glad to hear your review. I tried this at Saphora and new instantly, not for older or dry skin. So many choices for less. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to the splurge but you just know when something isn’t for you.

Hey Mel, I’m in total agreement with your review. I FINALLY received my package yesterday. And I was so excited to get it. I had seen abundant reviews and the products looks so beautiful on so many. Alicia’s reviews, it looks stunning with or without powder! However, first I was aware of the alcohol content in the foundation from Michele. So, already I was mildly concerned as a mature skin type on the drier side. But, still I remained hopeful. I tried my primer out last night. It feels good on immediate use. But, like you say with the bottle, it is this plastic bottle with a label that is coming off.🤷🏼♀️ I’m confused when you place that next to the beautiful foundation bottle. Anyhow, it doesn’t blur fine lines or reduce pores. It didn’t even hydrate my mature skin. Today, I will try the foundation again but I will use my usual primers. The foundation was pretty. And it is very light, which typically I do like. But, I think I honestly like the Dior Backstage. I’ve been using two small sample bottles I got from Sephora. And I have held off purchasing because I have been waiting for the McGrath. I will give this one a little more weartime. But, I will likely get the Dior. As for the powder. I haven’t even tried it. But, when you mentioned crapy texture around your mouth. Well, I thought 🤔💭 I definitely don’t want to go there! Last thing I want to emphasize is fine lines around either my eyes or lip line! I thank you for your honest review! I’m sure loads of people will give slack. But, sometimes not everything is a win. I too LOVE Pat McGrath. I think many of her products have been Game changing. But, this may be a miss for some... 🙄 Have a great weekend! 💗💐💋🦋

Steff Blade they pretty much held up the same. Pat was a bit more oily looking by the end of the day and felt slightly heavier on the skin. Also pat sunk into my fine lines more. But overall, to me they were very similar. Will have to test again in the winter months.

While I did not like how the foundation looked on you the first time, I think it looks gorgeous with the By Terry primer and the other powders you wore. The color is much better too, as you pointed out. Glad I'm skipping this launch alltogether.
You said you'd recommend the GA luminous silk or the Anastasia. Have you stopped liking the new UD stay naked or is it alltogether very different to those other two?

I purchased the foundation, powder and primer and my dry skin didn't respond well at all. The powder made it so dry that my face became a road map within an hour of application and stayed dry until I removed the make up. I am disappointed, but I believe that those with oily skin will love it. Your reviews are always on point and I should have waited to purchase. Have an amazing weekend. Hugs always. XOXO

I agree with everything you said! I’m returning the Pat McGrath foundation to Sephora, I am way more impressed with the Urban Decay Stay Naked foundation for a light to medium coverage foundation, and I’m even fonder of the price point.

What you said about the workout is truth. As a fitness instructor who teaches high intensity workouts in a humid room, this foundation holds up well. However, it would not be my first choice if I'm just going about a normal day with not much activity. I ordered both colors and am waiting for LM10 so thank you for the swatches!
