Hope so too! Interested to see the falter/parry mechanic. Also hoping the mech/flying sections are short bits within the game rather than a huge part, would rather the on the ground combat was the priority.
Was hoping for a hexen/quake reboot but the dark ages leak indicating another Doom title confirmed not the case. ID never make the same game twice so it will be different but also up there with quality. They should take their time and get everything right. Next year will be 5 years since Eternal so about right time for another release. Looking forward to the new combat loop which seems to include a flail. I wonder if Hugo was inspired by your medieval namesake 😂
Lol if so, I'll be asking for a small percentage cut from any profits 🤣 But yes, really interested to see how the combat loop plays out, flail, shield, blocking, staggering/parrying, environmental engagement, and I think we may have seen the very first Unmakyr...
@@FlailheadGaming yes that Unmakyr type weapon that fires bones fragments by crushing the skulls looks amazing. Community seem to be calling it the ‘Skullhacker’! Sounds like a Mick Gordon track, one can only hope!
@@FlailheadGaming It kinda reminds it, but Unmaker was essentially shooting argent energy and i mean the original one, not the Eternal one. Well the old one is called Unmaker and Eternals Unmaykr.
