- A new master level for super gore nest was just released, figured I'd upload a playthrough of it since I did the others.
Did a quick nightmare playthrough before this one UNM attempt. Might do the classic mode at some point.

These vids are so fake mate, you are clearly working with the developer Bethesda. I am a good player of Doom Eternal, and no way are these real videos. I have done the first two main rooms of Super Gore nest on ultra nightmare, and there is no way you can play like this, dancing round the room in the air, pulling all those split second head shots. You have to use my own patented 'Kill Corridor' method to do it. Also the developer pulled my quick resume checkpoint after I beat the second room, probably because they don't want me exposing that these vids are fake. I reckon I could possibly do the 3rd room with the fog, but the big open area after that I am not so sure.

Yeah. I started off Classic (shotgun start) on UV overconfidently. I didn't get past the Marauder mist room due to lack of vision, lack of SSG and Ballista and the fact I play on controller..
The mist marauder room on classic uv is pretty easy if you take your time and know how the marauder works

No joke. I got tired watching this.
I've tried my first attempt on nightmare. I had to eventually quit after 4 hours of gameplay. I was almost done with it too, but the arena with 4 titans and 4 archviles, I couldn't get passed after like 16 attempts. The first attempt was bull, because I actually beat that segment, but the game glitched two enemies out of the arena. Even the marauder sludge room took me like 26 times. It truly is an endurance test.
@@creek687 that's what happened to me. The two maruders, along with the acid, broke me to bits. But then the next stage, "oh an Archvile. Not so bad", I thought. But, then "oh there's 3 Archviles. Well, I'm about to die" and I tried it like 64 times.
@Sneed Central interesting. There are just somethings we struggle on. I don't play that bad on nightmare, but I struggled because I A. I don't play this game that often B. The level offered challenges that are pretty challenging and differ from other master levels. The original two Master levels, were much easier on nightmare, then this level.
For me it was the room with the doom hunter, 2 cacos, 2 cyber mancubi, a dread knight, multiple specters and a fuck ton of gargoyles; Then I discovered the power of the bfg.
Doom eternal is one of the very few games, Where mastering the gameplay to this level gives the same feeling as a musician mastering an instrument. The gameplay becomes something like an instrument itself. Truly exhilarating !

The best part about this master level is that if you forget where the totem is in the buffed gargoyle room, it will last forever. Accidentally missed it today and forgot that there was even supposed to be a totem for like 10 minutes.

How can he do that ive been crushed in this level
Watch how he moves, what weapons he switches too and why he moves where he wants to. You'll notice a pattern in his gameplay. He is in my eyes a Master of Doom and an interesting specimen. 🤣. I've been studying his gameplay as I have picked up his habits on how he plays, and as far as I can see his reaction time, decision processing speed, and accuracy are all in a perfect ratio. He also has perfect control over his character movement speed. Which means he knows exactly where he needs to move in order to mitigate the damage taken. Seriously, his gameplay is so good I took it upon myself to make it a goal to mirror it. I just picked up Doom roughly 2 days ago and I'm already seeing a vast improvement in how I was playing it. He plays according to the weapon of choice and he rapidly swaps between each weapon in a perfect combination, every time he sees an enemy that can absorb damage more than the current weapon he holds. His crowd control of the flow of battle is what makes him remarkable. He may not be AI Level Accurate but he is Very Close to It. Seriously, he is Zero Master for a Reason.

Doom has a lot of guns and upgrade trees. Zero always followed the most efficient killing tree skill for their style of gameplay but I assume its all purely instinct when switching weapons in game on the fly and precision shooting was earned through decades of gameplay.

This level is insane. Harder than anything in the DLC by a mile. I’m just terrified to do the Mars Core and Taras Nabad ones.
I did the Mars Core master level and it literally took me from like 11 to 5. I am not doing the Taras Nabad one.
I would say mars core is the easiest one, im trying to ultra nightmare taras nabad and im beginning to think that the TAG 2 master level is impossible

I'm doing the Gore nest on ultraviolence on the PS4 with no bfg and sword (as he's doing) and i don't remember dying so many times since bloodborne DLC

The amount of time needed to be spent on the game to be able to achieve such an immense level of mastery is flabbergasting
1 year late, but not really. The guy made mistakes but recovered wonderfully...it's always a dance with the doom slayer

It's honestly easier than the DLC double marauders. Single route for them to take, can't flank you, just wait and shoot
it's way harder on the classic mode, on any other, it's pretty easy, same we have to play on difficulties below nightmare and ultranightmare to get the gold shotgun
Yeah that Double Marauder Hall ain’t shit, what I’m really worried about is the last last encounter before the exit with two buffed Marauders blocking your path, I played the level today and managed to get to the final escape and died to the DOOM Hunter and Marauder because my Meathook failed.

@luxurious orc well a lot of people enjoy a challenge because it's challenging, that's what makes it fun. Doom isn't an easy game, but it gives you the tools to be good at it.

This level has been the bane of my existence for months, the farthest I’ve been able to reach is the double marauder hallway, only for me to panic and get myself killed, I love this level.
The amount of accomplishment the master levels give you when you finally beat them on Nightmare/Ultranightmare is unmatched. Possibly one of the biggest flexes in the modern gaming world.
Fighting Marauder in that mist is no picnic.
the marauder on the mist is easy compared to the double marauders on the toxic goo, hardest part in the level by far

People make mods (on pc) that makes the game impossible to the average person and for them this is a walk in a park
I’m late to the party but this level has been such a treat. I’m able to beat it on every mode except ultra nightmare. The level is very fun since I’ve started breaking it down and coming up with alternative strategies for each encounter and figuring out where to use my crucible/bfg and how to optimally take out the first cyberdemon in the room with two of them and a doom hunter so that I only have to deal with the doom hunter because I like to crucible the second cyberdemon. I’m still on the grind but I know I can beat it and this video has renewed my confidence that I can endure the storm long enough to conquer this level.

The fluidity of your ripping and tearing is just perfect.
One of the things I love most about this level is that it blends pink and orange, arguably the least easy to blend colors on the color spectrum, perfectly here.

After finishing the campaign I was curious how they would make it harder than the original level. And I have to say, this level really made me use all my skills and utilities to the fullest to survive. Especially when they surprised me with the smoke areas and the extra buff totems.
Did this today on ultra nightmare and I just had to watch someone else do it. Got it in 5 tries, and 3 of those times I died at the part with the 2 marauders in those narrow sewer hallways. Shit was frustrating as hell.

Sometimes I wonder what this would look like from the perspective of an unknowing bystander watching this from really far away and without music. I completed this mission in classic mode in nightmare. I've died endless number of times. And looking at your gameplay on an ultra nightmare, I admire it.
bruh, i play on playstation 4 and i beat the main campaign and the first dlc on ultra nightmare, i went looking for a video to see other people playing and i saw that there is not much difference from our gameplay, i was happy for that, finally there is a game that i can be really good at, thank you very much friend
The Fact that the Quick Switching is now officially a Tip is a god send for newcomers and everyone needs a get a hold of it as it's really important and essential especially on higher difficulties.
To put it bluntly,It's literally like switching different styles and weapons and doing crazy combos when playing as Dante in the recent DMC games.
That is still incredibly difficult on a pad, since there’s no option to tap for weapon wheel.
Can the consoles even do that?

like i managed to play through all of AG1 on ultra violence no problem but if the difficulty spike from AG1 to AG2 is as severe as the difficulty spike from the main campaign to AG1 then me and every other average player is fucked

I feel like the RAD suit should give slightly more protection against Cyber Mancubus attacks, it makes sense, in my opinion, because the Cyber Mancubus attacks seem to have corrosive properties to it, and the RAD suit provides protection against toxic waste. I’m not saying you should be 100% immune to the Cyber Mancubus attacks, but you get slightly less damage from them, and the RAD suit energy gets drained by the attacks so it isn’t permanent
