I love this section of the trail! The views from Buzzard Rock are stunning and I love the fairy tale forest coming down from there. Glad you got to see some ponies! Grayson Highlands is definitely my favorite state park in Virginia.

Whitetop is a great mountain - I stay there when I can when passing through. The lair is cool, I hope you got to stay there. Epic ponies! 🥰
