If you need any more proof, a similar Weezlipede deck just won in a 139 person tournament last night! www.reddit.com/r/PTCGP/comments/1hhtoi9/top_4_decks_in_a_139_person_tournament/ This video was recorded on release day btw! My right shoulder has been hurting for the last 2 days (last 3 years really but it had gotten even worse in the last 2 days) from sitting at my PC for too long with shrimp posture. I'll get back to streaming and content creation as soon as I can!
yeah I have that pain almost every day when I come back from work (I work on a pc). I'd love to know how to really prevent it >_> it's not like my posture is particularly bad.
Pretty much every time there is a break or a finish a game, I stand up and look far away. Good for eyes, posture, body. Helps prevents sore butt. Or consider getting an adjustable standing desk.
@@PokéNinaait’s even better than you think, judging by your misplays! 😂 I LOVE POISON effect in Pokémon, & was excited to see these Pokémon. Thanks for making this deck!🙌🏽🥳
Yeah I was trying this too and unfortunately never quite worked. Think if Salazzle was a bit better it would have helped. Evolution line is weirdly backwards in power imo
@@ipadbossbaby4558 For sure, I ended up cutting Salazzle quick because the split to fire energy was annoying too. I'm doing mono dark with just Salandits.
I figured a card like Scoliopede would be too much effort to evolve twice, as well as get a poison off some how. But 120 for 2 energy is insanely efficient. Basically a better Beedrill because they come out at the same time and the power is almost doubled in comparison.
From the cards you get to the deck, to the enemy misty coins.. everything on the game is luck and building an strategy based on that luck. So I do consider its luck to have the 5 victories, but considering it was full of pikachu, mewtwo and articuno, its still something to be happy about.. plus its the only 2 emblems from events we can add atm hahaha
i made pretty much this exact deck on my own before but seeing you play it out differently made me realize I was prioritizng leading with wheezing too much
I feel like I'm missing something this deck is awful. The odds you actually pull what you need seem incredibly low with my playing so far. 9 times out of 10 by the time I actually pull the evolution I need, I might as well have conceded already
I think my win rate with Weezing/Arbok has gone up to 75-80% after the Mythical Island release. So many Mewtwo/Mew, Celebi, Misty decks have lost to this simple combination. Will try the Scolipede version, but I fear I'll miss Arbok's no retreat ability.
idk about koffings... I run leafs so 2 retreat is not that painfull but when I play only 4 basics I would prefer to have a tutter for basics, 20 dmg is not much anyway. But I will give this version a chance for sure. Cheers! EDIT: Okey tried both versions. I bricked much more often with old koffings, new koffings make two things. 1. Thin your deck out 2. If you use its ability you have 100% to get toxic bug basic from your pokeball instead of 66%. I mean 33% difference on this is not that irrelevant and there will be huge ammount of games when you don't find your second basic, the bug which actually allows you to win. Oh, and the 3 point is you can more easily bounce back and forth with weezing-koga between koffings. I like the ability to not wait a turn before evolving my other koffing and start poisoninng right away (and hitting for 30 istead 20) Overall I love this deck. Borrowed the idea of X-speed, it's smother now. Because I can now prof research on the same turn. Which is crutial in topdeck wars when you want to retreat your weezing but at the same time you want to find the last evolve piece. It's prettyy low energy deck so it's really not that uncommon you can spare 3 energy (-1 from X-speed) to retreat your wezzing and your bug is already energy-full. I cut sabrina (yeah, crazy right?) But there are just too many pokemons right now being played and in toxic deck you don't really want them to switch pokemons. And when I was playing it, it wasn't usefull even once. On the other hand giovanii is super usefull in early game, so many suprise kills with weezing I couldn't even count. Maybe i will switch it to something else, maybe potion, but for now suprisingly 2 giovanies it is. I sometimes can hit for 80 with 2nd stage bugg when I can't poison them because they killed my weezing (common senario). With 140 HP it usually survives huge hits and can be retreated with leaf or X-Speed if I happen to find another poison card.
Weezlipede is such a good name for a deck. In fact Scoliopede, Whirlipede, and the other pedes are just fun to say and I admit that your accent mixed with these silly names is fun to listen to 😂 thx for uploading
Oh this is a fun deck! I gave it a go and got matched up against Mewtwo EX, hah. Poor guy, he was trying so hard to dance around the poison, doing a bunch of really weird retreat plays. I think I like it better than Arbok just for the synergy it has with poison that Arbok doesn't and Arbok only having 100 hp makes it super vulnerable to Celebi which is a bad time. It also has the damage that Arbok lacks, being able to 1 shot Celebi or Mewtwo EX when they're poisoned is so satisfying.
I've tried this deck, damn it's really good against psychic decks, I only lost a few times in 2 hours of use, most of the losses were because the opponent got serperior/gardevor quickly.
ok i see you edited your reply from muk to ekans 🤣 weezing + arbok is also great but scolipede hits a lot harder than arbok. arbok needs at least 2 hits to kill a pokemon usually whereas scolipede would normally just need 1.
@@PokéNinaaspecifically against mew2/Celbi/pika, do you feel the control arbok grants is more valuable to trap unpowered ex basics early, or the hard hitting scoli matters more?

I've been trying something similar but with Salandit to help with Celebi, but this seems more consistent. I'll give this list a try for sure.

Best game commentary
23:08 celebi decks don’t need to think in general 😂
Y'all know dark pokemon,
But who remembers Light pokemon 🤔 that would be cool if they brought that back🎉
would a giovanni be good in this because it gives tauros the ability to one shot celebi and mew?
might be too narrow
a lot celebi players on the ladder are the saltiest players when they lose. No thank you when they lose ior just close the app
Almost all die hard meta deck users are like this. They dont like to have fun with their decks. They just wanna win all the time.
