I did try to cook up with Scolipede back when Iron Thorns won that tournament and the ladder was filled with it but I haven't found consistency and switched between Alolan Rat and this. Finally I can try this
o nice, i hope it works out for you. the all basic energy with 4 dark patch lets you use pecharunt as a late game attacker and in niche situations can use fezandipitis attack. and with the counter gain not having reversal energy didnt feel bad. hope you have luck with it!
I have a pretty solid 60 with Alolan ratticate which does the same thing as solicipede but with a cost of 3 colorless so dte with one dark or dte with countergain
I tried this deck a while back and was disappointed with people just appealing bonnet to knock him out, vacuuming capsules or hitting for heavy damage and forcing me to have to build 2 more scolipedes just to keep up. It’s a great concept but too greedy for a single prize Pokemon.
yea its unfortunate, i cant remember the last time we had a competitive single prize stage 2 deck in the meta. i tried to make it so it only has to attack with scolipede twice and once with pecharunt at the end but then it'll still struggle against single prize basic decks or decks that can throw in too many one prizers
i was thinking about building it like that when i originally thought the attack could damage anywhere and not just the active. it would need a bunch of boss and counter catchers and a turo or penny would make things a lot harder. i think tsareena ex is just better for something like that and uxi wouldnt work well with tsareena cause it only does 20 and tsareena leaves pokemon with 30 hp unfortunately
yea i had a lot of my opponents just concede if i got the combo turn two lol. tsareena is cool but i think scolipede might work better with the brute bonnet cause you dont need sneasler down too
