I’m glad you covered this one! This was the first Worlds event since I started playing earlier that year and hearing about Keldeo Blastoise tearing through the event (and even watching a little myself) was so cool to me for some reason. Really opened my eyes to what was possible. Great video as always!
Dude! I'm loving the editing! These videos are always interesting to watch as someone who only really starting getting into Pokémon TCG around the release of Sun & Moon!
Considering the title, I admittedly thought you were going to cover a controversial match in the history of the game. But this is honestly a much better video, and what made me get into the game to begin with
Dude imagine if PTCGlive is gonna have not just standard and expanded but like a bw-xy mode, xy-sm etc that would literally bring so much replayability to the game
Can’t get enough of the videos bro, love how in-depth you go and you got great story telling, but I think making your videos shorter towards the 10-15 minute mark would help you grow a ton
i'm so happy they re-printed rain dance blastoise from the base set, during the ex era. what a monster it was with keldeo ex. i think i actually picked up this worlds deck from my local toys r us, that had the complete 60 card deck, plus a booklet about the event and a coin i think.
Tell you what some people are so creative with decks haha. I remember when archies and maxies first came out and people thought they were meme cards but they ended up being pivotal in their own decks (being this and gallade if i remember correctly). Kind of nice to see at least single strike mustard beedrill doing the same thing in modern. Also shoutouts to bantercuno they need to recycle the ancient traits idea already haha 😄
2015 Worlds grand finals is the match that for me into PTCG. I vividly remember the first deck I built being Jacob van Wagner’s Keldeo Blastoise.
Was one of the first worlds matches I watched live too! So fun!

Man, I miss the XY era. Such an insane power level while still allowing a ton of variety.

Rules? Blastoise don't care about "rules".
Exactly! What rules! 😭
Well done 👍
