Haunted fanatic is absolutely cracked imo. The fact that she starts at her threshold can mean incredible effects right from the start, and her revives can stack up with her base power summon. Just keep grabbing aegis and if you goof, you have your defeated power for a get out of jail free card. On my last play with her, I managed to get absolution, and two anoint allies out on turn 2 or 3 (thanks argent). So every swing of absolution dealt around 13 damage, which happened frequently (also thanks argent)… yeah, even advanced gloomweaver didn’t last long
@@thegodoftoast8067 It is totally possible to get two or all three relics out at the same time on Turn 1 or 2 with some of her cards that allow her to search for her relics.
Werewolf Haka is basically a weird combo of The Eternal Haka and Prime Wardens Haka from EE. I really like its "if you are strong, get three cards, otherwise play 1 Haka card from your deck or trash". Like, you could summon the healing Haka if you are below to get back up. I think it is way more powerful than his other versions right now.
Stealth Suit Bunker is my favorite Bunker, because it is basically a better version of Terra-Nation Bunker from EE. It basically allows you to have two Modes out at once. You play Turret Mode first on your Play Phase to get a second power, do one of your other powers, and then use your Hero's default power to add Upgrade Mode or Recharge Mode to get the additional two Plays or four Draws and fill up those Ordnance cards for next time you are given a Power (either on your next Turn, or somebody else giving you a Power). Then at the beginning of your next Turn, both cards blow up (and if you need to sacrifice Ongoings to card effects from allies or enemies, you can sacrifice those Modes).
I like how much synergy these have. I may be reading too much into it (many heroes have synergy in this game), but: 1.) there are so many "destroy 1 target under X hp" (*usually a niche/weak effect*) or direct damage dealing incapacitated powers, and Wraith's power is to bring one targetout and set it to 1 hp. Fantastic against e.g., Akash'Buta. 2.) This Fanatic Variant has probably the highest average strength per card play of any hero in the game (because of all the "under 10 hp" effects) but may not survive long enough to play any. Detective Wraith can play cards from her deck starting turn 1 with her innate power. 3.) Scavenger Unity is the best Unity at keeping a specific golem out long term, which lets e.g., Cryo Bot work with the Friendly Fire Ra variant, or lets stealth bot tank forever for Haunted Fanatic.
Scavenger Unity is fun with Supply Crates if you are the kind of person who just wants to draw obscene amounts of cards. It's just too bad we don't have anything especially great to do with that many cards in that specific deck...
Haunted Fanatic is super broken OP in any game where you don't expect to have a lot of damage going towards the Lowest HP Target. You can get two or even all three relics out on Turn 1 or 2 and then swing for 10+ damage each time you use Absolution.
Unity and Captain Cosmic in DE still suffer from lack of play for their Bots and Constructs respectively. Captain Cosmic in EE finally got a variant that allowed him to play a bunch of Constructs every turn with a potential backlash once their were 4+ Constructs on the field. But you could mitigate that will proper setup. I hope both Unity and Captain Cosmic get a variant like that in DE.
I feel like stealth suit bunker is the only way to play bunker now. His base variant is to dependent on drawing upgrade mode in your opening hand. Never having to worry about bricking and have a bad setup turn 1 just makes stealth suit bunker better.
Most of his songs are strong enough that if you just play a single one of them, that’s good enough to contribute to the team while setting up. I’d recommend focusing on whatever song is most useful in the moment, and put anything else in the back of your mind. As the game goes on, you have more options at your finger tips, and you can basically do anything the team needs to get done. As an argent player, you need to constantly monitor the board state and decide what needs to happen. Then you need to figure out how to do it. He’s definitely my favorite hero. In case your wondering how his giant combos work, they mostly revolve around Inspiring Supertonic, and using it’s perform on yourself. This will let you use multiple instruments at once and weave together tons of different effects. The accompany on Alacritous Subdominant isn’t that useful unless you *really* need something done *right now*. Overall, I’d just say to focus on getting a sense of which songs to use when. Then add in his instrument combos as you get comfortable with him. Hope this helps!
Basically you need to get a bunch of his instruments out and the songs that let you give powers to someone, and then using it on yourself so you can play another instrument. Each song can be played multiple times.
Backdraft was the name given to a Ra/Setback teamup storyline, so it makes sense that he would damage other heroes.
I had not paid attention to haunted Fanatic’s defeated side text, thanks for pointing it out.

I still haven't tried it yet. Going to get a game with him done this weekend

Awesome insights!

Hahah they for sure had some synergy ideas with these. Mentor nightmist and backdraft ra also just work so well
Yeay. Video I've been asking for
Detective Wraith can be great in Diamond Manor. Some of those better relics let you claim them if they're played on your turn
Thanks for the video.

Yeah it's an absolute beast

I hope prime wardens Captain fixed his issues for sure

Yeah, early upgrade mode definitely feels like a must for Bunker right now and Stealth Suit definitely lets you grab that fast.
Stealth suit is by far the strongest but you might not always just want to play the strongest variant
Can you do an indepth on ,Agent Adpet, the magic bard. I have a hard time understanding how to play that deck.
Once we wrap up all our Rook City Renegades content we will go back to the base game and do those characters. That will be in a month or two

I ended up prioritizing the argent video for you, so it's up and ready to go.
