So how come the Harley bike people don't gear up like the sports bike guys? Is it less dangerous on a Harley?

I don't think I agree with that statement. I see just as many sport bike riders down here in FL wearing less protection than most Harley riders. Also, the day we rode the Dragon there were sport bike riders riding in T-Shirts and no gloves....... We had our Riding jackets, Gloves, Helmets, and riding shoes on when we rode the Dragon. If you checkout Killshot Photos, you will see some of them. I think people are going to wear what they feel they are comfortable in. Ride safe!
