I did some laser engraving on an antler shed. Trying to use what you have to make some cool products. Country Road Custom Design shirts - countryroadcus...
Thanks! I forgot to take note of these settings. I want to say the speed was around 1300mm/m. It was at 100% power, and 2-3 passes. Antler is very hard, so basically like engraving a hard wood. Hope this helps.
You can certainly create some amazing things with a dremel. A laser is very precise, and gives sharp detail. But you can't carve a 3d object with a laser. Or many other things a dremel can do. But I'm a sucker for buying and trying new tools/technology lol.
Very nice design - I think they look cool!
Beautiful
Great video, super informative. Thank you! Please tell us what model laser you use and what type it is. Thanks!
Thank you! I used the xtool D1 10watt laser.
Was that resin, or some kind of glue you used to mix the powder in the carving?
I used a thin ca glue with the copper powder.
What were your settings for this? Looks great!
