Sorry to say but I am surprised you guys haven't talked about Madaari. This film is par superior to all the Eid release when it comes to direction writing and phenomenal acting. Just cause it does not have star cast does not mean we ignore the talent in Pakistan. I hope you review Madaari as well.

I watched this movie in Houstan
They had put the movie in AMC theatre just for one week
Although the drive is more than an hour I still went for the sake of watching Pakistani movie
It was a good experience especially the first and the third one
The second one was rom com but wish it was better story wise!
All the praise for the movie makers !!

Saw TMK on Wednesday night in Dubai . Probably the only Indian in the theatre. Went for Wahaj . It was actually quite packed even if was a Wednesday night .
    Loved Jin Mahal .
    Second one was very amateurish
Ek sau tehsaywah was actually as me and my hubby said quite heavy. Felt like those 80’s Bollywood art movies which we would be scratching our heads to understand what they meant ? At 11:45 pm at night it was one movie we discussed while driving back home. What was the message the writer wanted to send across; that infidelity is ok ; the wife knows and follows a high ground saying I do not cheat but I am ok with my husband cheating ?? What does he want to say that men only see outer beauty ; they do not see inner beauty ? Isn’t respect and trust pillars of a marriage? If u know ur hubby is cheating how will u respect him; if yr hubby cheats u that means he does not respect u. Still very confused about the message the writer wants to convey.
I also agree with Aamna there should have been a link between three films.
Wahaj was good but knowing his talent he needs more screen space. According to my husband ‘ He is the new Fawad Khan of Pakistan ‘.

I just watched it today, and here’s what I took away from the 3rd film, although had a hard time as well understanding what exactly happened, to me it felt like sadaf stayed with her husband, since she was still emotionally dependent on him, once she would be over those feelings, she would leave him. Even if he’s head over heals for her by then, knowing she loved him knowing he was guilty of infidelity. For wahaj’ s character he let go of his wife, since she wasn’t in love with him anymore, and he didn’t want his wife to reach that 130th number, and so decided to let her go, but then the whole sitting with his daughter having food was confusing like did her get back together with his wife, or were they coparenting, god even I’m confused now, after thinking I’ve figured it out.

There is absolutely no comparison to any writer-director duo when it comes to Khalil Sahab and Nadeem Baig. Differences aside, every piece of content these two have collaborated on (whether it’s a drama or film) is sheer art and exudes what talent and passion can deliver in Pakistan. There’s a reason why everyone gets excited when these two collaborate. It’s always a unique experience

TMK is a very entertaining movie. I liked all three stories. I think 2nd one is also fun to watch . The whole theatre was laughing on several scenes especially Sheheryar going without kurta...his acting is also good so is Ramsha but i think she doesn't fit for big screen. Gul e Rana is superb as usual. Mahwish is the super star cinema actor of Pakistan! What a screen presence !!👍👏 Wahaj❤❤💙 is fantastic on big screen too👌 but khaleel sahib's writing is the winner. I will definitely go again to watch only for this masterpiece.

Great Review! I have watched the movie in the cinema, and I can watch it couple of times again. It was just fantastic. First movie was outstanding! Second movie was light comedy with a very good message, I enjoyed it. And the third one was just a masterpiece with killer dialogues, killer performances, and very poetic screenplay. To me it felt like I was watching a Shakespearean play. Mehwish did a mind blowing job. I'm a fan now. Last but not the least Shuja Haider's OST was crazy good.

I am usually a great supporter of Pakistani films and champion them. However, this is a Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar film so I will not be watching it. Ever. That's how we show that we disagree with a person's misogyny. It is not possible to separate a person's views from his art and especially not this guy.

KRQs misogyny and traumatic attachment to women not being loyal to him... is a bit of a tired narrative. It's again annoying to watch how he portrays that men are just cheaters by description and such behavior should be normalized. But the depiction, acting, and direction was beautiful. (Spoilers for movie) Not just dated, it was also a confused premise. Was the point that the girl's ambition is second to the boy's? Because at no point does babar ali's character say that he has any problem with her working. If the problem was that the girl literally leaves her nikkah to go to a competition that is so unprofessionally managed that no one is on time there, then it could've been managed easily by moving the nikkah time to before (like what ended up happening anyway). Very weak and pointless story

I feel that KRQ is highly misunderstood man in our country. I have been following his work and his interviews for 10 years and the way I analyse him is that Sadqay tumhary defines him. Shano’s mother, his khala is the one biggest reason why he thinks that women are driving force of a family. To be honest, i very much agree with him. His female characters are probably the most strongest characters I have seen. Majority of people judge him for MPTH but i say Dramas like Manjali, Pyarey afzal and mera naam yusuf ha define him. The heroines of those dramas are way more powerful than the counterpart. In mera naam yusuf ha, a molvi’s wife takes divorce after 25 years of marriage. If that isn’t portraying agency for women then I don’t know what is.
