Ian Holloway Blackpool legend 🧡 turned a team of nobodies into a true attacking unit. Thanks for the memories 🧡. As for Mick Mccarthy... Less said the better 🤣
Ian Holloway. You get yourself back to the seaside football club you love the most and have the best memories. If Simon Sadler doesn't call you in the future, it's his loss, your so loved here and always be. . . Your an amazing man and we miss you.
I think Ian Holloway greatest asset along with Neil Warnock is their superb man management skills. This is what has led them to be successful coaches. I’ve met them both and talked to them and what struck me was their willingness to listen to what you had to say. Having watched this super documentary and his obvious reaction to being back at Blackpool- it would be quite special if he was to return back in some capacity to help Critchley return them to the Championship. You couldn’t help but admire his passion and enthusiasm and any professional player would appreciate him and would want to play for Olly. Hope to see you back in the future👍
Absolutely loved Ollie at QPR ... I had my season ticket from when Gerry Francis gave him the chance til I left for New Zealand in 2006. It was the best years of my life seeing Ian Holloway turn a club in shambles into a club with real pride and passion. I was one of the 8000 plus supporters who saw his side get promoted from League 1 at Sheffield Wednesday. In my eyes that man is a LEGEND and built a team where EVERYONE PLAYED for the shirt!! It will be a long time before we will see it again. Blackpool were lucky to see it too....
Ian Holloway getting Blackpool to be the Premier League and competing they way they did with no money and players signed from lower league clubs is one of the greatest stories ever. To get relegated on 39 points as well… Luton need to take note. Blackpool’s squad was much much weaker
Great documentary Ollie , people like you and Warnock is the reason some of are devoted fans , as a Luton fan I thank you for your passion and love for this wonderful game.
Absoluteley what Football should mean to us all, that emotion Ollie felt at that moment looking at the Sir Jimmy Armfield Stand and remembering his parting words.....Just lovely.
Ian made blackpool feel what it is a big town 150.000 plus 97000 on the flyde that’s 250.000 potential fans were never going to be a massive club but he felt what a lot of us sandgrowin felt about the flyde coast.thankyou for the memories it was my best trip I’d ever been on ..🍊🧡
I remember the level of excitement when Pompey were linked with Ollie a few years back - massive shame we never got to see him manage at Fratton Park, quintessential attacking manager, and one of football’s biggest characters. This was a class watch!
Great Doco...Shows the other side of football when you are dealing with human beings....Not everyone is a Pep Guardiola or Alex Ferguson, they are the exception, not the rule...
We love you Ollie. You left a legacy at Blackpool. You achieved the impossible. Took that rag tag bunch of journeymen to the very top. It would make a great movie.
There are 2 managers that have never managed my club Pompey that i love as if they won us a trophy. Olly and Warnock. I dont presume that you will see this olly but you most certainly have left a legacy in football and if you never take another job you've still had a top class managerial career in English football selfishly id love to see a return as the football world is brighter with you in it. But family comes first and if the boss says no we'll all have to suffer never seeing you on the touchline again 😂 awesome doc btw
I really enjoyed this. There are very few characters in this game. Ian, Warnock, Barry Fry, Clough back in the day.. Great insight, the women will never understand!!
What’s happening with Luton right now is almost identical to Blackpool in 2010/11. I just hope they do what they couldn’t do and stay up with a team on a much smaller budget than everyone else
"Thanks for the wonderful days in the sun" Not just on the pitch but that year in the Premier League lifted the whole town. I managed a small hotel (not a b&b) lol, 20 bedroom hotel and remember the fun of every other weekend been chocka with Spurs, Newcastle, Arsenal, Chelsea. It was a great year on and off the pitch.
Brilliant, As qpr fan could see a number of former managers in there. Ainsworth is very much wanted by fans but sadly no fan base will tolerate the poor form he been producing for to long. Let's hope he turns it around
Managers can control their actions and how they treat people professionally. They are the representatives of their club. Inclusion not exclusion and the sexist macho games behind closed doors is over.
Wow. Just superb, insightful and heartfelt storytelling. Loved it. Ollie you’re so loved. 👊🏼❤️
Oh shut up

How many hundreds of thousands or millions do they make before they get fired😢
Tangerine army legend, always will be
"Thankyou Ian, for the wonderful times in the sun" 🍊🍊🍊🍊 LEGEND!

Ian Holloway is absolute box office. So funny, so real, so blunt. Love it!
Football needs characters like him in the game. Get him back in the dugout!
Absolutely loved this. Ian Holloway is a loss to the game. He’s a legendary man and manager. Could listen to him all day and not get bored.
“Comparison is the thief of joy” that’s a brill statement ,
If there’s one thing I’ll take away from this doc it’s that
Happy Hour & Footballing Legend

Sadly he left for Leicester in 2006

If it wasn't for the Oyston's they may just have avoided relegation.
Superb. As a lower league fan you think you have an idea behind who these people are but you have no idea and it was brilliant to get a glimpse
I've got a soft spot for Ollie. He wears his heart on his sleeve and is a real football man.

Incredible. Very moving. Ollie is a legend!
What a great bloke Ollie is 👍👍
Fantastic. Could watch things like this all the time. Some of the Real people of football not the shambles it's become.
Absolutely loved this ... especially being a palace fan very connected between a lot of these legends in the game ❤️💙
As Warnock said man management is 90% successful you’ve got to have that motivation to get your players ready for matchday
I remember the level of excitement when Pompey were linked with Ollie a few years back - massive shame we never got to see him manage at Fratton Park, quintessential attacking manager, and one of football’s biggest characters. This was a class watch!
Top documentary 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Hope Ian gets another job in EFL soon
Ian Holloway, what a bloke 🫡
Superb documentary. Obviously some parts are scripted but very insightful and Holloway is an absolute legend!!!!
One of my favourite managers ,Ian seems a proper sort

Brilliant insightful film!

Excellent 👏🏻
Outstanding documentary ❤️⚽️ man management is 95% effective that’s the key thing you must have in football management
Love Ian when hes on talksport

Being a Sunderland fan, I feel exactly the same with those 2

Ooh the timing for Gareth Ainsworth. Ollie obviously favours the Clubs he knows.
Dane Whitehouse knows all about Gareth Ainsworth kicking back twice as hard. Ended his career.
Loved this
To think Blackpool were ever in the premiership is mind blowing, if ever u wanted to know what overachieving looked like that was Blackpool
About time let's gooooo!!!
Gas legend
Great watch
Excellent insight 👏

Beautiful
A Blackpool legend. UTMP
Come on home to Ian. Bloomfield Road misses you too
Sorry mate, home to Ollie is Bristol. He's a gashead through and through
I mean think to all the highest emotions you felt in football a manager must feel that 20x. No wonder they take it home
How can you say you never left a legacy!!!!! Ollie you did the impossible at Blackpool and will always be loved there
Perhaps the tide will bring Ian a job at Bristol Rovers?
Mad how Steve Evans flicks between Glaswegian and southern accents so much 😂
Got that Scottish but had a guesthouse in morecambe since the early 90s accent 😄
@@phil9582 class 😂 I heard a story about him on under the cosh podcast where he shit himself on the team bus 😂
Gas legend
My guy 👊🏾
Steve Evans, trying to portray himself as a kind caring manager. Biggest bully in the game
My dream to be a coach got Level 2 badge doing grassroots
Follow your dreams mate ... rejection and failure is only a speed bump in the road all the best
I've got back in after 11 years away, happy enough being level 1 though, just to be back coaching players is good enough for me
Bet he’s put his name in the hat for argyle

Gareth ainsworth goal. Fuck about 👏
Joke at Grimsby, glad when he went
Lets not mention grimsby

Promo SM 😞
Holloway great Manager superstitious Guy doesn’t want to be in the Premiere League
Take that hat off, and more clutter in the house please❗️
He was rubbish at Grimsby
Tbf grimsby were rubbish without him, cant polish a turd sometimes
Nice, funny chap Ollie. But a top football manager. 😅😅😅 Nope.
