    I need to get one of these parts for my wife's broken futon! Do you have a part number you can share, vendor that sells them?

    Good job, we can buy 2 of these in the UK for £10 made from Nylon so not worth making them but your video is interesting and you produced a pretty good copy. What type of resin/plastic did you use?

      It's a urethane. The video was more about mold-making using the excuse of a broken futon to talk about techniques and understanding how molds work to make mass-produced parts.

      What website can I use to order these?

      😂 i just 3D printed 4 of these for £7.50. Broke the original screw out and melted it into the end. Admittedly it’s PLA vs nylon, but i cant see it breaking again for a while.

    OK, say I have the part? Now what? Is there a video for how to actually replace the part on the futon?

      I do actually show a bit of how I fixed the futon toward the end of the video. Not any different from if I had the actual part.

    Can you make me 3 of these I'll pay?

      Ha ha, maybe. I do still have the mold. I’m kinda swamped right now with too much work though. You can contact me through my website, www.geahk.art if you want.

    A futon is a padded mattress. Why its this video about some mechanical part of couch?

    • @GeahkBurchill
      @GeahkBurchill  3 года назад +3

      Azog Defiler It’s a folding futon couch but the point of the video is about the mold making. The futon couch is just the excuse to show how to make a simple two-part mold.
