Here in germany that nata de coco stuff is called "Götterspeise" wich basically means "the thing that God's eat" wich makes Rie's outer space experience even more hilarious 😂
Pei Tien Energy 99 Sticks is invented by Mr. Ming Kuei Hsu. Originally, he was dedicated to develop puffed food items. Later on, he implemented the concept of natural diet, with the insistence of non-fry, non-preservative, as well as non-food coloring products, come from Taiwan
Your bothered by the fact that she mentioned Pei Tien Energy 99 a Tawainese snack but not the fact that Rie had nata de coco a Filipino snack? Make that make sense? The snack are just snacks they enjoy from their childhood?
Okay I actually really like Tway I know now that she’ll bring a lot of entertainment and knowledge and I’m sure she’ll make big foods tasty! Can’t wait to see who she’s making it big for!!!
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
I didn’t expect that Nata de Coco would be featured here, but I love it since my elementary years. It is usually packed with transparent container that comes with its flavored juice inside which is sweet.
Obviously you didn't read the title. They were swapping their favorite snacks in their respective culture not what's the best snacks in japanese/vietnamese
Not sure if these are good examples that represent Vietnam snack. They are from Taiwan, Honkong, mainland China, etc. Kind of like what you get after you move to America.
Im sure that we ,Vietnamese have way better snacks than the ones she bring up there .But the title is ".. swapping their Favorite snack " so 🙃 and since when mooncake is a snack 🙃🙃🙃
True story I bought A box of bearded papa cream puffs for my nieces to eat there mom had to step out to use the bathroom and before she left she’s tells her daughters to save her some. The mom was gone for 10 seconds she comes back cuz she forgets her📱when she opens the 🚪 and all the bearded papa cream puffs all gone like it wasn’t even 1 one for me either 😔
I'm a Vietnamese and I'll say there are w a y better snacks here than the things she brought. So you're telling me instead of actual "snacks" she brought: -Pia pie -Moon cake -Soy milk -Fries "snack" with a brand I've never seen before And moon cake isn't even a snack, it's a traditional food I guess these "so called snacks" were sold in her age back then before she moved to America huh Japan has Toppo and it's like "reversed Pocky" while here there is "reversed Pringles" which is Lays (old version used to be Poca) or the "reversed Oreo" too but I forgot the name of the brand and Marine Boy that most kids enjoy (which is just these small fries that has shapes of many aquatic creatures ex: squid, shark, fish, etc.) There are countless of snacks like crab-shaped fries, puff popcorn, small packages of green tea fries, peanut butter sandwich, etc.
@@kimtran5688 i know but then again she mostly brought things that doesnt even count as snacks my point is she could've brought something better than the ones were in the vid
@@xyanide1777 I agree! But those snacks at the beginning aren't 'fries'. They are like wafer rolls with filling but instead made out of grains. (Tiếng Việt gọi là bánh ngũ cốc á.)
Lays is an American brand. Moon cake is a snack though. I mean would you eat it as a meal? I eat moon cake for snack time. Snack doesn't need to be chips. It can be bread, buns, etc. A snack is a small portion of food generally eaten between meals.

I’ve never tried Götterspeise with Greek yogurt though, maybe I should try it since I looooooove Götterspeise haha
Nata De Coco is NOT Götterspeise.. you can get Nata De Coco in Asian grocerystores in DE

Bread papa 😍😍😍🤤🤤🤤 fav snack, i always bought it when i went to the airport
I LOVE TWAYY AHHHH!!!🎉
Just curious how do you bring the outside snacks to America, if they don't allow outside food if you take a flight to America?
Tway is hot
Is it a westernized way of spelling "Thuy"?
Wait she can't read Vietnamese but she's a Vietnamese cook?
That’s chinese character
@@thanhthanhtungnguyen8536 aren't the phrases "nang luong" and "bánh kẹp" in the lower left corner Vietnamese?
@@bdo6499 yeah but google translate detects "bánh kẹp" found in the lower left corner as Vietnamese.
lmao that was literally kanji😂
Hi, TWAYYYY! 🎉 So cool to see you branching out to the Buzzfeed fam.
As a Hongkonger I’m familiar with most of these snacks and lemme tell you the soy milk and beardpapa are good 🤤
beard Papa smells amazing and they should try the malted vitasoy ; ^ ;

I really like those pei tien energy 99 sticks, I always get the chocolate or pumpkin ones. One of my favourite snacks
Was waiting for them to put that potato snack in hot water. Why didn't you do it?! Whyyyyyy?
That's no vietnamese snack..... It's from Taiwan
So if you have not guessed by now, us central/southern Asians love salted egg yokes, for some reason :p
just taste good
Rie is so adorable! Looking forward to see Tway in the future videos 🥰
Are you going to make it fancy

worst snack for VN. Most of these (mooncake and Pía) are not that popular. It's more of a tradition rather than something a lots of people enjoy.
Obviously you didn't read the title. They were swapping their favorite snacks in their respective culture not what's the best snacks in japanese/vietnamese
TO SAY ASIAN FOOD ARE THE SAME IS LIKE SAYING ITALIAN AND NORWEGIAN FOOD ARE THE SAME
BEARD PAPA IS THE BEST!!!! 🇯🇵

I don't know if she eats the same snacks that we eat in Vietnam 😌 'cause she moves to the US when she was 9
Beard papa! Finally something I’ve had and enjoyed
Beard Papa is so friggin good. There's one in my area and it's always exciting to introduce new people to the delicious magic.
