Hey friends! I’m back today to share with you progress on my Homebody Sweater and chat about how to spring clean your knitting. Grab a cup of something cozy and let’s hang out for a bit!
I just discovered you earlier this week while searching for knitting podcasts/vlogs that harken to less political, cozy, simpler times. Found you on Apple podcasts, then found your website. Now, I am delighted to see you are on RUclips. Yay! Love your content. ❤
These are all such great tips! Another thing I like to do to organize seasonally is take stock of my current WIPS. What is hiding in each bag? Do I want to try to finish it for the season ahead or should I put it off until a more appropriate season (i.e., knitting a blanket in the Fall, rather than Summer). Kind of make a priority list. Then I also like to reconsider my stash of yarns and patterns to refresh my memory. Wasn't there a cotton top I wanted to knit in Spring to be ready for summer? Or which Fall sweater project, if I only get one done, is at the top of my list now? Basically, just organize my brain. 😂
That's such a great tip, Laura! You could even write a post it note on a pattern saying what its purpose is/when you wanted to knit it. I like your tip of thinking one season behind!
Which pattern are you looking for? I put my show notes on the blog here: thisyellowfarmhouse.com/farmhouse-knitting-podcast-s5e2-spring-clean-your-knitting/ but please let me know if I left something out!
