I do appreciate you doing these videos...I am a small business owner and I always dread having to do my own quickbooks online. I still don't understand some of the background of quickbooks because when I add bank transactions, I reconcile and then my customer transactions are off. When I fix my customer transactions, then my reconciliation is off. This video on rules is awesome, I will apply this.... Thank you for commending us little business owners for trying....needed that boost ......and thank you for keep making these videos :) you make it easy to understand.

You do really well thought out videos. Thank you. I was trying to catch up on my bookkeeping last night and noticed that my bank hadn't connected for 181 days... yes, I'm that kind of client! The bank would not update, no matter how many times I clicked the button, sooooo, I thought that if I reconnected the bank it would fix that problem. Nope, it created a new bank account (that was up to date, BTW) and now I show 2 bank accounts with the same Bank balance, but the old one still shows that non-updated QB balance! Ugh. Any idea what I can do with that? QB help has been, you guessed it, no help. Thanks for any advise.
Hi Hector. I'm running into an issue, that perhaps you might be able to help with. After importing Rules, everything comes back in with the Auto Add flag set to Off. Even if I do A set to Enable the Rules, this flag does not change. Any suggestions to do a global change to re-enable these other than manually reset these? If, not, this is a major flaw in the export routine without fair warning to the user. Thanks for any help you might be able to suggest or offer.

When creating a rule through a transaction, I also don't want the bank memo or description for every transaction that the rule catches to be overwritten and changed to the same bank memo/description, I want each transaction to keep its original description/details from the bank. But on my end, these rule options are worded differently to yours, so I'm not sure what to do and whether to tick the box or not.. I'm not sure if we have a different version here in Australia, but where yours says "Memo", mine says "Replace bank memo" and contains the detailed bank memo text in the text box next to it, and the checkbox underneath it says "Also keep existing bank memo". If I tick that box, the title for the field above it ("Replace bank memo") changes to "Append to bank memo" 🤔🤷🏼♀️ Shall I assume it has the same effect - ie, tick the box if I don't want the bank text overwritten? And should I delete the text from the box so it doesn't double up? Your advice would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
When I categorize bank feeds and add them to QuickBooks, why is my ending balance negative? I see on the screen that you have an account with a negative balance

Hi hector, thank you for this video! I just wanna ask something. Is it possible to delete a qb account? I'm afraid that qb will charge me as I made an account using your link before to practice. Now that I open it again after few months, I noticed that the "company" account I made was under qbo online plus. I didn't put a credit card but I'm afraid if they will charge me.

“Also keep” would be the same as “append”
When you create a rule, just clear out the memo.

Tags are not searchable yet,.. when they are, ill consider those

It deletes within the year... if they do not have a card, they cant charge
