- Hunters! We're celebrating the Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary with an in-game collaboration in Street Fighter 6.
Get the Rathalos Armor avatar outfit, emotes, and titles starting in April! In addition, there will be 15 accessories inspired by weapons from Monster Hunter in the Hub Goods Shop.
The Battle Hub will also have an adventurous redeisgn and you might see some familiar claws appear in Photo Mode!

Ibuki got a skin as well.
Ibuki had a Kirin armor set and Blanka had a full Nergigante costume
I remember it being $5 each time too lol I also remember chum getting the most costumes by a mile creating this unevenness to the costume distribution

I"m glad they introduced Battlehub into this game, but I would have never guessed that they would be prioritizing it over the core game, kind of a bummer.
Then you weren't paying attention nor do you have any deductive reasoning skills! It was so obvious an infant could make the connection!
Battlehub and avatars changes can be made with very little impact on the core gameplay, so they can go ham on those.
Balancing, stages, and costumes on the main characters have implications they have to take into consideration.
Why do people keep saying this? They've made it clear how often they'd change the main game already. DLC characters and a big balance patch once every year. Skins will also show up once or twice per year for the main game. Why are people so salty they're also paying attention to the other side of the game?

Im so lost and confused where all the event skins for characters are. Especially when you can use the assets from all these avatar contumes. I would like to exchange money for goods and services . Please add more character skins so i can exchange money for goods and services.
They take long to make. Go watch the behind the scenes, to understand how long it take to make new costumes in this game.

@@DramaticQuantom yeah I have modders on tap even if thier iteration phase and quality are super high this is nonsense. Single people can make them from scratch using modding tools (which are always way worse than in house.) make high quality mods from the iteration and modeling phase from scratch in literally a week and change. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say it takes like 2 people a month to make a single skin. This pacing still doesn't't make any sense.
Not to mention that other modders have been using the avatar costume assets literally as just modding skin assets because they're already fully made and with a few property edits have the same level of physics and quality as the baked in skin models. (Not to mention avatar costumes are slightly more complicated because they are modular and have to be scewable and have multiple body types.)
They're literally either:
Have a wack internal timeline on how they're releasing the skins
Or
have the majority of their modelers that aren't working on dlc working on avatar costumes.
Which looking at the event cadence they might honestly be overwhelmed by the amount of avatar costumes they have to bang out due to contractual obligations.
No hate to the actual devs but this skin cadence and the lack of literally any event character skins is wack as fuck.

A. Give special costumes the actual Cast
B. Have Special Missions in world Tour that have you fight Monsters from the MH games to unlock more costumes for ya Avatar
C. NEW GAME PLUS!

By looking at the track record in exactly the next week from today or tomorrow the gameplay trailer for akuma will release

@@HalcyonEX The DLC characters are always preceeded by a 20 Day Fighting Pass. Rashid Arrives, A.K.I. arrives, Ed arrives.
This Fighting Pass is going until around the 20th. Meaning the "Akuma arrives" Fighting Pass wont be until May, which means Akuma at the earliest is coming at the end of may now.
Woulda bought this if it was literally on any character besides the create a fighter

The price of Outfit 3 and the lack of bundles is garbage the costumes itself was of pristine quality.

Fighting passes are anywhere from free to $5 depending on your completion of them, not $20. I for example use an autoclicker to get enough Kudos overnight every time, so they're all free.

To all the people saying that they can't do these skins for main roster characters but they can for avatars, what am I missing? Because what I'm seeing is skins that are adaptable to every move/animation in the game (avatars/battle hub) but not the individual characters with one move set (seems way easier). Not to mention the fact that individual modders have been outpacing Capcom since month 1 with some pretty decent quality skins, pretty shameful.
Guess Capcom gived a tribute to the Games Of Throne look. Speaking of 'look', I wonder when Akuma is coming before Year 2 is coming up of announcement?🤔🤔
I know people aren’t really happy with these collab outfits being for avatar and not the fighters. But I’m still happy with this. I do agree these outfits are better on the main roster like when Ken had the rathalos armor and I really hope the collab outfits be like that again. Or hey, if the next collabs are for BOTH Avatar and Fighters then even better! But at the end of the day if I had to choose one, it definitely be the fighters. I’m still excited for this tho. But hopefully things will change in season 2. Remember, this is only the beginning.
Monster Hunter games don't recive nothing on their own aniversary but Street Fighter do, well done Capcom well done

As cool as avatar stuff is there's really not much to do with it outside of world tour, or even within it really with most of foes and challenges being really easy or just level gated. If you're pushing avatar gear and battlehub so much why not try to expand on its function and avatar battles functionality where people would actually have reasons to compete and experiment.

Balance the avatar battles and make them available online with a separate online rank system or at least usable in casual match but with fixed specials depending on the base character fighting style like soul calibur 6 created characters
There's already a big limitation for avatars which is the attack motion type, you can't have 2 moves that share the same motion, even if the attack button Is different (An example Is, you can't have both Shoryuken and Ken's Dragonlash Kick since both share the shoryu/dp/z motion, even if one uses punch and the other kick buttons)
@@TheDevilDucker yeah i know, that’s why if avatars could be used in casual matches then specials should stick to whatever fighting style the avatar is using and not a combination of many so they’re viable in casual matches; separate from avatar battles where you can go crazy with your avatar.

All 15 Weapon cosmetics can be obtained for 1000 Drive Tickets Each, the pass with the Rathalos Armor costs 5 Dollars and gives you 250 Fighter Coins like every other pass, you can get almost all of this by 5 Dollars and by playing (even easier if you have Drive Tickets already)
I want skins on Characters, I dont care about the dumb avatar.
