      I don't need to sell it... but I'm about to get evicted by my grandma
      for freeloading rent for 10-years, she says I owe her $6,500 at least,
      also my long-suffering ex-wife says my alimony is overdue & the kids maintenance hasn't been paid - like ever... I'm a dead-beat dad.
      When the brats demand take-away, hamburgers or fish & chips...
      cop this... I get my children hot chips & 50-cent potato scallops (instead of a $7 to $9 bream, cod, snapper etc,.. scallops instead of 'real' fish); at the local Fish & Chip Shop and they're none-the-wiser... (I tell 'em it's 'Potato Fish'...). Needless to say 2MMM Radio had a Tightarse of the Year - Dad - Award back in the 80's & I won it 85 86 & 88 89 too for this disgusting unfatherly, despicable, cop-out from spending a couple of bucks... I've still got the original same $2-note in lunch-money my dad gave me in 1974 to get a sandwich, a cake & a drink in 1st-Grade primary school!.
      Terry Tightarse Turdburglar Turner's the name - spending $'s is not my game.
      This type-of-loser-dad can just wait 'til his vengeful vendetta-fuelled vitriolic hateful angry abused & neglected beyond the pale children / kids grow-up fill-out pump-iron play Linebacker or DE and, AND, AND! they figure out derelict dad's 'Potato' fish ain't a thing at all, after all, they've been duped!?. ...they'll batter bash & beat 17-shades-of-sh*t outta that musty miserable old bastard once / when they hit 19-20yrs old & leave home to live in an abandoned car.
      100% HORRIFIC that last guitar! Can never UN-SEE it! Damn your eyes, Fluff! :-P

    So the story behind the belt buckle is that for the 25th anniversary of the Les Paul, and 50th anniversary of Les Paul’s first album, Gibson made a special edition custom shop guitar. Each 25/50 came with a slip to mail put and get a belt buckle. Because Gibson collectors are insane, these belt buckles are absurdly expensive.

    I absolutely loved these videos. The vintage guitar market is corrupt. Most of the classic vintage guitars are being bought by hedge funds as an asset class, or by the wealthy tech robber barons of today. Most musicians coming up today will never be able to play a 50’s or older guitar because the price is too much. I love how you poke holes in the ridiculousness of this market. Keep it up.

    But hey, this is America, and the cash he gave me wasn't counterfeit, so he had every right to do what he wanted with it. Still, I felt sorry for the folks who built it in the '50s . . .

    Stupidly that price for the buckle can be on par, trogly once mentioned it in one of his episodes, however, many fakes and it also needs to be a very specific beltbuckle

    Marshall 9005 (two JCM800/50W power amp) sells for €250. Its 9001 preamp sells for €150...
    Just upgrade a few capacitors and you have your boutique Marshall...

    2598.60 is a fine price for a back to the future guitar. And that is cool. It’s crazy and ridiculous. But it’s cool af. If it started playing what you played during the time set on the guitars input pad when you hit 88 something or other it would be epic.

    I think the dude with the Mesa cab just stole the electronics\speaker and hardware from the 4x12. Don't think he actually cut up the 4x12. Still, $800 bucks is absurd. The panel gap on the back alone shows that he isn't skilled enough to charge $800 for that cab.

    In Germany there are sometimes Blueface VH4s up for like 3-4k.
    Considering the retail in Germany is 3k € thats totally fair.
    I know they are not in the slightest as rare as in the US or anywhere else in the world, but as you said Fluff: *BRUH*

    The price on the Marshall is ridiculous. I don't know if the price on the Diezel is ridiculous. It's high, but I don't know if it's ridiculous. Those 90's blue-face VH4's are actually pretty rare and there is a huge market because of Adam Jones using one. I mean, his $6000 signature guitar resold on Reverb for $12,000 the day after it's release, so is that price for the VH4 really ridiculous? I think it's just high.

    • @SluggerStark
      @SluggerStark 3 года назад

      That is my friends amp. He has 2 BlueFaces and is keeping his 96. I would not pay that much for any Diezel, but has received a few offers for 10k+. May not sell for 17k, but I guarantee he will get well north of 10k for it.

    • @sephiroth762
      @sephiroth762 3 года назад +1

      @@SluggerStark This is pretty much my point. It's a LOT and I personally wouldn't pay $17k for it. (I own a 2010 VH4 and know how awesome they are.) But, he will probably get close to that. I can see it selling for $12k or so. So it's expensive, and priced high, but it's not "ridiculous."
