Hello from the USA. I just discovered your channel with this video and enjoyed it. Wonderful colors, tones and information. I look forward to seeing more.
Hello and thank you for the video. For the image that you showed of the beach houses, where did you focus? Was it a focus stacked image? I truly liked that image! Thank you!
Hi David, many thanks for the generous comments. The beach hut photo was one image and I focused approx one third up the image, just right of centre. I did try multiple focus points and considered a focus stack but found this one to be just right for the focus throughout the image. Just a little tip…. When you use the play button on your camera there will be a reference somewhere as to where you focused. Use this in conjunction with your saved images in Lightroom (or whatever software you use) and you will then be able to cross reference each image to find out exactly what focus point produced to best focus throughout the image. You can then remember this for future compositions and focusing. 👍
Great shots! I'm wondering because i wanna go mirrorless and coming from my D750. Why do you pick the Z7 II over the Z6 II? Is it because you need the higher Megapixels?
I did own the Z6 for just over a year, but went to the Z7ii as you said for the higher megapixels. This means I can crop in and yet still be able to produce large prints. Also the Z7ii had two card slots as I like the reassurance for data security. And most of all, thanks for watching the video and I am pleased you liked the photos. 🙏
Hi Samaresh, firstly sorry for the late reply. I use the Benro GD3WH. 3 way geared head, it may be slower to set up than a ball head but fine adjustments are so easy with this head.
Yes Justin you are spot on there, I seem to have not been overly clear in the video. I don’t know how much I would use it if it was available whilst taking photos, it’s just a shame it is not an option available to us. Maybe one day. 👍
That was cosmic. Thank you
No problem. Pleased you liked it. 👍
Awesome shots.. Beautiful Colors and Tones..
Many Thanks Azeem, it was a one in a million morning, so pleased I made it there in time. 👍Thanks for watching.
Just discovered your channel, great. Very much enjoyed it. Love it there I must go back.
Many thanks Kevin. Yes it is great there, especially when it is as quiet as that day. Thanks for watching.
Great report. This Z 24-120 is a no brainer for any Nikon shooter. Yes, it is sharper at the edges compared to its F mount counterpart
It is the lens that is mounted to my camera most often now. 👍
very nice, do you stick the bracketed shots together using HDR stack in Lightroom ?
If I need to yes, but if remember correctly all the photos were taken only using one image. The dynamic range on these cameras is good. 😊
Amazing!
Many thanks Jason. 🙏👍.

Nice work Peter!
Many thanks. 👍

Did you shoot a video with handheld sir. Or with a gimbal
I use a DJI Pocket 2.
U made your tripod do the splits!
Yes I did. I didn’t want to retract the legs and get sand inside them. Thanks for watching. 👍
What is the tripod head you are using? Thanks

@@peternickols2687 Thank you. I have purchased 24-120 f4 after seeing your work and I do not regret buying it.
@@samareshm good choice, it’s a fantastic lens.
Re zebras, I've got a Z7 ii with 1.40 firmware. I can see zebras in image playback, but not live whilst taking photos...

You like oversaturated pictures right? 😅
Believe it or not, only a tiny bit.
