3yr old video but man was it super simple following your instructions. Only difference is on the 3r tent the wires are all on the opposite of the tent at least the us versions. For anyone wondering. The factory wires brown are positive and blue is negative. Took maybe 30 minutes to install and another hour for the glue on the wires to dry. Thank you for the easy to follow video
Hi mate , met you at the caravanpark in Narrabri you let me check out your tent , just picked up a campking got s $30 fam for temporary try out , definitely need one of these
You should be fine just make sure you fold it flat everytime and we split our pillows apart so it fits in between, FYI we left ours open and crushed the gears inside so it doesn’t lock in position anymore and we no hold it in place with elastic.

Hi Andrew, Just read yr comment. I place my pillows so the fan will lay in between them and act as a spacer. I’ve just read yr question. I have just released video where I wire straight to a cigie. Have a look and let me know what you think. Cheers Out There Touring
G’day mate great video appreciate it I do have a question when you have your bedding and your mattress up there does a roof still close well with that fan connected
Hey Denis, we pack our pillows parallel to the tent so they leave a gap in the middle for the fan to sit in. As long as it’s packed up to the roof flat, there’s no dramas!

Why use rivets vs TEK screws?
Did you put those pockets up or were they already included
They come standard with the Alucab rooftop tent
Is 1 fan enough for 2 people?
Yeah plenty, it is pretty powerful for a little unit
What size rivnuts did you use?
I used M5 rivnuts!
