    This video deserves so many more views than it has.
    It breaks my heart that we have become so egoic and disconnected from nature.
    It is only alongside nature that we can survive and prosper.
    We must preserve the environment to preserve our children's future.
    It's just a shame money has made it so difficult to protect our countryside. Land is a valuable resource for construction or modern farming, its difficult for some to see the true value in land.

    I fished the Piddle but I was a novice. Beautiful countryside famed Dorset.

    This river was one my stepfather Jack Hargreaves loved, and feared for because of extraction from the chalk aquifers so vital to its survival. 17 years after his death it seems in rude health.This must be the result of dedicated influencing informed by understanding of how a river works. This beautiful gem of a film - just a few minutes - must surely make the river's survival more assured.

    @rackseng Thank you. I'm afraid I don't know what camera kit Hugh used to shoot this. I'll try to find out next time I see him! The underwater shots are great! Jane
