Well, I hope you will keep going and introduce "us" to New Zealand - no clue as to what life is like there! (And, you can still do some holiday content, too, from/in/with France.) No matter where your journey leads you, it's nice to follow along to see how the chapters in your life evolve. My husband and I have been following you and enjoyed your videos so much! I'm French, he's American and we aren't living in France so it was amazing to be able to relate to your experiences for him, and to see France with the eyes of someone discovering France. We wish you all the best and yes, we totally hope to still hear from you from NZ!
I just discovered your videos I am sorry to say Au revoir, at last I am glad to hear that your relationship is not over and that your are Madame X......
Hi dear, how amazing! Embrace this change... you can keep your youtube channel the same, since it still applies since your married a french man, and you will keep your connection with france/french stuff. Now you can add new zealand vlogs so still "not even french" but actually even better. 😘 so I would continue on the same road, capitalizing on your experience, your french husband and your holidays there. Just add some new zealand in the mix and see how this goes, and from there check if anything needs to change.
@@NotEvenFrench ur welcom, and im very curious as I think many others as well, about what life in New zealand is like. This is actually only an improvement of your channel. And dont feel weird about authenticity because of not being based in france anymore, because 1) jou have been for 6 years 2) you keep your connection through husband, experience, holidays and 3) your channels name is perfect, for if anyone would ever think it would be strange to have french topics (which I dont think at all, since your history/experience explains it well), it will be perfectly explained by your channels name: "not even french" so its kinda funny and perfect actually!
You really need to continue in some capacity. You obviously love it. I’m an expat still in France, going on 7 years, and I enjoyed hearing about your life here, good and not so good. Whatever you decide, I wish you and your husband the very best. Glad you will finally get your cat. Take care and looking forward to seeing more videos.
Hi Rosie - please continue; any observations about life and culture contrasts from one so smart, sensitive and charming are much sought. Best wishes to you and yours.
First, Congratulations on the move back home!!! Keep the channel and talk about life in New Zealand. You can talk about your experience re-integrating back in New Zealand and maybe what your husband is struggling with. You can compare the differences with life in France and New Zealand with a new perspective. Love the channel and keep up the hard work.
Oh Rosie you are my fav youtuber please continue with the channel. The whole notevenfrench family is behind you. All the best with your new adventure! It’s the hubby’s turn to be an expat!
Life changes and so does content! I think this is actually a great opportunity to spice it up and show your love of France and relationship to the French culture from a different perspective. Definitely excited to see Wellington and life in NZ related videos too. Best of luck with your new life back home! xxx
I think that continuing telling stories about life in France would still be amazing, but also telling about life in New Zealand would be awesome! I love this channel because I’m going into my second year of learning French (in school) and it is so interesting to learn about life in France.
@@user-qe9gs6no9r Son mari a trouvé un travail très intéressant à Wellington, pile dans son domaine (éoliennes), donc ils ont déménagé :). Hey regardless I'll still stick around for content from wherever so I can vicariously travel through your videos :) Good luck to you and your husband. And great job rolling with the changes like a champ!
i think you should definitely continue your channel! perhaps do more videos in french, to keep up with the 'not even french' trademark, but otherwise i think most of us have subscribed to see you, and the french is a bonus :) glad you are settled and well in wellington! much love x
Welcome home Rosie - why don’t you try to keep the channel going and see what happens. We’ve enjoyed your channel a lot and are heading to Paris for our first visit later this year - you’ve been so helpful. Good luck with the consulting - hook up with Frog Recruitment In Wellie-Jane Kennelly has all of government down there and it could be helpful.
Hello! I found your channel not so long ago and I really liked it because I am French but I have been living abroad for the past ten years and you were a way to remember what French culture is. It happens that I moved back to Paris in September to work and I found your channel useful to "get back into it" even though I am French and it used to be my culture. I am in the middle of a culture shock, but, in a way, I am ashamed to admit it because it is my country and my people so I would to hear about your experience in New Zealand and maybe discover that I am not alone in this situation. Good luck in your new venture and I wish you the best. Marie
Marie Esclozas Salut, Marie!
‘Not Even French back in NewZealand” continue your life journey and keep making videos we love you!.....your content will be interesting wherever you are xx
It's the first time I write a comment in english in your channel I think but it's training me : I think you should continue your channel ! You're still credible to talk about french culture, and I'll enjoy to discover New Zealand's one, so I think I'll always like your videos even if you talk about other things than french culture. Your emotion in this video is so cute😊 I hope you'll have a lot of good moments in your country ! Bisous from a french guy 😉
@@carollutz8253 It's the same thing in french : we really have a lot a lot of rules, with so many exceptions that even for french people it's hard to speak without making a mistake. So I think the french that learn the other countries can be considered as a "bourgeois", a "noble" french.
@@theosez I agree. I am trying to learn French and I told my sister I am going to be an illiterate French speaking person. The written language is complex. I am from the U.S. and I struggle to say in French United States. I appreciate her videos. I don't want people to know I am from the U.S. . I want to blend be in. For me that is what this channel does.
I love all the ideas you mentioned of like reverse culture shock, differences in customs that you forgot about, your husband’s impressions etc! you have a wealth of knowledge to share. and as a fellow expat in France (though I’m American) I think the most interesting part of channels like yours is the analysis of the human experience in different places. keep it going! bisous!
I’m so happy for you getting to live in your home country! I would honestly be happy to learn more about what life is like there. I really hope you will continue this channel. Your videos were the reason me and my husband went to France just 2 weeks ago and visited Paris, Strasbourg, and Colmar. It was amazing! So thanks for that 🙂
I love your channel! i just found it a couple of weeks ago. I was remembering when I went to France many years ago and watching your channel has inspired me to go. Please keep the channel. You can add new perspectives. Love it. Sending you good vibes.
A. L. Ward agreed. Here in the US, given the choice, I think most people would choose to live in New Zealand. I think this might be an easy transition for you and you might be pleasantly surprised 😳
You seam overwhelmed and upset. You are a big reason why we are watching your channel. You always come with interesting topics, so don't worry. We are here to stay. Lots of love xx
I would honestly love New Zealand blogs. I’ve only recently found your channel but I like your personality and would love to see what else you put out. Whether you keep this channel or start a new one please keep us informed! ❤️
Rosie, we love learning about France, but we also love learning about you! Your intelligence, creativity, and passion are what give this channel its life, not the fact you live in Paris. There are so many directions you can take this channel (readjusting to NZ, your French husband getting used to being here) and we’re along for the ride !
You cannot leave us! Please! I watch this though I don't care about France (sorry) - you could talk about anything and it would still be fascinating! Make this a channel about you life, career, c culture, NZ etc. So yes: CONTINUE!
Hi Rosie! You are not the first youtuber that changes country! Do comparisson vídeos and more vídeos about new zealand! We want to ser what life is like there! Lots of love from Argentina :)
Please, please, please, keep up with the content related to France! This is my first comment ever, but I’ve been following you for some time now and basically binge watched your channel since I discovered it. I’m an expat myself (a Portuguese living in Ireland) and recently my husband was presented an opportunity to move to Paris. I can’t stress enough how passionate I am about France, but as a mother of two young children all the variables have to be considered and your content has been very helpful. I’m sure not only you’ll be able to be there for all of us, lovers of French culture looking for inside information, but to share with us how is life in that beautiful country of yours :) Wishing you all the best!
Keep going if you want to keep going! Reverse-culture shock, reintegration, what you think of French politics, all of that. You've been my go-to source for information on France and now I'm looking at a move to Paris! So, you not being in France at the moment for me changes nothing if you continue to make videos:)
I think we can all agree we want you to continue! Initially, the French life brought me to your channel, but I stayed because I enjoyed your personality. I would love to hear about your life in New Zealand and how you manage picking up your life once again. While this channel has been about Paris, you’re at the center of it-it’s your channel and we want to keep hearing about you! Plus, I’m sure you could offer a lot of help to people that have to make big moves like this.
Please continue! You’re still married to a French man who brings his family and culture into your union. You’re still alternating between countries. You still have all of that experience. Can you also do a side channel teaching us the French language? Keep going! 👍🏻
This opens up so much opportunity for new videos and content that is untouched by most. Reverse culture shocks, your boyfriend culture shocks, the difference between Paris and Wellington, etc. That’s cool!
Hi Rosie! I’ve skimmed through some of the other comments and agree with most that you have plenty of ideas and you even mentioned in this video the direction that you should probably take. You’re a very creative and perceptive person and I’m certain that as things come to you you will work your way through this in the way that feels most natural to you. I am sad that you were not able to delay this long enough to get your French citizenship. Perhaps give us more information on that as well in terms of whether you will be able to pick right up where you left off if and when you move back or whether you will have to start over? I think the most important thing is to do what feels right to you but also know that you don’t owe anyone any explanation of where you are or what you cover in your videos. People either choose to watch or they don’t. I wish you and your husband the very best and look forward to new videos from you! ❤️
It’s ok you can still make videos about France and French and whatever else In between. I made a channel around living in Spain and had to leave unexpectedly as well. It’s been two years and still I’m making videos about Spain, it’s totally fine!!people don’t mind where you live, info is still relative and valuable. I love spain so much and even run a large Facebook group on teaching in Spain just bc I love it so much. But due to certain things in my life, I don’t know when I’ll be able to go back, but everyone keeps telling me to keep making. Videos! I’m eventually going to ad content about my life in Miami, from Madrid to Miami basically. So you def should continue too, it’s your passion and gives you joy I can see that, hope all goes well with your transition back to your home country! 😉
Oh Rosie, I can’t say that I’m not a bit sad about you leaving. But I also am really happy for you all and this new opportunity ! I wish you all the best. Here’s to new adventures. I’ll still be looking forward to your videos, seeing both French and New Zealand type content .
I just discovered your channel, you're a natural, and I can't stop watching your videos. I'd suggest you do whatever is best for you, but please don't stop posting amazing and useful content on your RUclips channel.
It'd be interesting to hear your hubby's take one NZ. A "Not Even Kiwi" series. He may not be comfortable on camera so if not no worries. Im here on your channel to learn. So I'd love to learn about NZ!
I am french from Paris, and I really like your channel because you're the only one on youtube who understand very well the french culture and mentality, your content is really fair. Keep going, there are enough french people in NZ, AU and french expat all arround the world to have enough to say about it. Your career as a freelance consultant is a great idea, this is what I did when I came back to France after 5 years in Sydney and it helps a lot to have more challenges and not feel like my life is exactly the same as 5yrs ago and that didn't move fwrd in my life and career. all the best
Absolutely continue! Flexibility is part of the true French joie de vivre, the art of being able to express and reinvent yourself creatively. Approach your channel as one of the great masters like Renoir would have approached a work of art had the lighting changed...just alter the perspective. Bon chance!
Please please please keep going with your blog Rosie! Your channel is about your journey and you - geography is irrelevant these days with the global RUclips community! Wherever you are you’ll have something wonderful to say and we all want to hear it! My husband and I have been planning a trip to NZ from Australia and we were particularly drawn to Wellington - would love to know where to find good French crepes or best French restaurants there! Best wishes for settling into your new space and the new chapter of your story!
Your community loves you as a person just as much as we love your content so please keep going, no matter what you wanna talk about, we'll follow you into this new journey!
please continue doing this channel! You are such a well-spoken woman and sooo interesting. It's a pleasure to listen to you. Any subject you decide to do will be well received. Love your personality and look forward to seeing more.
Please please please carry on with this channel, I love your voice it's very calming for me, but not only that I am sure your content will be incredible whatever you it's about. I'm sure I speak for all your subscribers when I say your passion shines through and that's why you are so engaging to watch ❤
I've lived in 4 countries for school and stuff. I know your feeling cuz one of the countries was part of Europe. Living abroad is hard. People don't talk much about that. I'm glad you made a great decision for you two.
Rosie!! Please don't stop the channel!! I think you'll find your new groove and your subscribers will love the content, love the idea of continuing on with the expat videos, you definitely have the authority to do so. But NZ blogs or even having your husband on the channel would be cool! You got this!
Hi Rosie! I discovered your channel one year ago when I moved to the US as an exchange student for one year. I've been following every video that you posted because the content was funny, really interesting and I learned a lot about New Zealand (and also about us, French people haha) but also about living as an expatriate in a different country, and how to deal with cultural differences etc. Now that I am back in France for one month, I still watch your videos you posted before because I love them! And I think that of course you still are totally legitimate to speak about France and share your experience, your tips, your reactions because France was and is still part of your life, and even far away from France you can still -- maybe in a different way that you did before -- make us laugh, learn, think etc, so please stay on RUclips! And enjoy this new chapter of your life :)
Hi Rosie, glad to hear that all is well and that your reason for taking time off was an exciting one! I don't think it matters where you are living, you have so much experience and insight into the culture at this point, and that won't go away. Plus your husband is a constant resource and you'll still be visiting. I would actually really love to hear about life in New Zealand and how you and your husband adjust to being outside of France! We love you and love your videos no matter where you are. :)
Y a plein d'options possibles. Bonne chance pour tes nouvelles aventures !
I think you should continue. You are such a natural and your videos are always enjoyable to watch. I would love to see what it's like to live in New Zealand, especially after having lived in Paris for 6 years! I would love to see you do a series of comparison videos.
You have done such a wonderful job of pointing out all those weird little aspects of France that most Parisians just overlook that I think it gives you that extra special perspective on your own country. The list of general ideas that you gave towards the end sounds really interesting! Especially as you'll now be listening to your husband going "why the heck do you do it this way?" and be able to reflect on that for us. To be introduced to New Zealand the same ways that you've shown your viewers life in France would be wonderful!
I followed you for the French culture, but please dont hesitate to show us all about New Zealand culture. NOBODY talks about New Zealand. Its such a tiny country people rarely share about it. We’d love to know what there is to love about NZ too! :)

I'd do a series of videos showing the reaction of your friends at how much you've "frenchified" during the past years ;-)
amazing idea !!!
@@mickaelconstantin7467 Totally agree: fantastic idea! I hope that +NotEvenFrench sees this comment.
Please keep your channel! It would be beautiful to see it evolve as your life evolves from France to New Zealand & so on❤
I just discovered your videos I am sorry to say Au revoir, at last I am glad to hear that your relationship is not over and that your are Madame X......
Fleur, you've said it so well here. Love your suggestions for Rosie.
@@22304abc thank you Denise! ❤
@@22304abc I agree. @Fleur Bloem -- c'est très bien dit !
You have such a genuine personality. I would love to hear about New Zealand and you experience there. Best of luck to you in this new adventure!
Life changes and so does content! I think this is actually a great opportunity to spice it up and show your love of France and relationship to the French culture from a different perspective. Definitely excited to see Wellington and life in NZ related videos too. Best of luck with your new life back home! xxx
Yes continue your channel- you still have the knowledge/experience that is fascinating
I like your personality, so whatever topic you decide to focus this channel on I’m here for it.
I think that continuing telling stories about life in France would still be amazing, but also telling about life in New Zealand would be awesome! I love this channel because I’m going into my second year of learning French (in school) and it is so interesting to learn about life in France.
Continue les vidéos ! Toutes les années que tu as passées en France n'ont pas disparues.

Hey regardless I'll still stick around for content from wherever so I can vicariously travel through your videos :)
Good luck to you and your husband.
I'd love to see some videos with French ex-pats living in NZ - do they feel "not even french" sometimes?
+Kate O'Donnell -- that's a really terrific idea! I hope that Rosie sees it.
Congratulations Rosie and Rosie’s husband!!! :) getting the job of your dreams is the best feeling in the world
‘Not Even French back in NewZealand” continue your life journey and keep making videos we love you!.....your content will be interesting wherever you are xx
Well done! Your English is very good! It's going to be a while before my French is that good!
@@carollutz8253 Thanks 😊 French is a harder language to learn than english I think
@@theosez , that's not what I've heard. English is such a mix of many different languages. We have rules, but they're broken all the time.
I love all the ideas you mentioned of like reverse culture shock, differences in customs that you forgot about, your husband’s impressions etc! you have a wealth of knowledge to share. and as a fellow expat in France (though I’m American) I think the most interesting part of channels like yours is the analysis of the human experience in different places. keep it going! bisous!
Yes! Please continue with Not Even French. I'm glad you are ok, I thought something terrible had happened!
So thanks for that 🙂
My God! That was really touching video.
Best of luck Rosie!
I love your channel! i just found it a couple of weeks ago. I was remembering when I went to France many years ago and watching your channel has inspired me to go. Please keep the channel. You can add new perspectives. Love it. Sending you good vibes.
Would love to see New Zealand!!! Everyone knows about Paris.
A. L. Ward agreed. Here in the US, given the choice, I think most people would choose to live in New Zealand. I think this might be an easy transition for you and you might be pleasantly surprised 😳
SAMEEEEE
@@jnewmark41 why?
@@MsElodie14 Paris is very problematic.....
MsElodie14 Among other reasons.... 1. Anglophone; 2. NZ civility vs. perceptions of Parisians as rude: 3. LOTR scenery 😂
You seam overwhelmed and upset. You are a big reason why we are watching your channel. You always come with interesting topics, so don't worry. We are here to stay. Lots of love xx
Keep it going! I would love to learn about life in New Zealand and your reverse culture shock! :) best of luck on your new adventures!
PHEW I thought it was like a sudden divorce or something! Glad to hear it's actually good news!
Hou yeah carry on! So that you can do a "what I miss about France (so much)!" video ;-) Best of luck in New Zealand!
I would honestly love New Zealand blogs. I’ve only recently found your channel but I like your personality and would love to see what else you put out. Whether you keep this channel or start a new one please keep us informed! ❤️
Continue with your channel! Your content is ALWAYS great, and those of us who have lived in neither place learn SO much!
We'll miss you here in France! 💜 but I'm SO happy for you both!
I’m sure not only you’ll be able to be there for all of us, lovers of French culture looking for inside information, but to share with us how is life in that beautiful country of yours :)
Wishing you all the best!
You can still get your french nationality /citizenship while in NZ ...
Is it ok to have double citizenship in NZ?
Yes, but she probably won't be coming back until around Christmas, and so her dossier had to be put on hold....
@@fenitayosi5412 yes you can have french and newzealand citizenship together
Oh Rosie, I can’t say that I’m not a bit sad about you leaving. But I also am really happy for you all and this new opportunity ! I wish you all the best. Here’s to new adventures. I’ll still be looking forward to your videos, seeing both French and New Zealand type content .
You must continue! I’d love to see you continue and how you adjust to live again in NZ.
Your career as a freelance consultant is a great idea,
this is what I did when I came back to France after 5 years in Sydney and it helps a lot to have more challenges and not feel like my life is exactly the same as 5yrs ago and that didn't move fwrd in my life and career.
all the best
Yes carry on please!! Would love to see some of New Zealand and any other thoughts you have on Paris!
Your community loves you as a person just as much as we love your content so please keep going, no matter what you wanna talk about, we'll follow you into this new journey!
I think you definitely should keep on doing videos on this channel! :3

please continue doing this channel! You are such a well-spoken woman and sooo interesting. It's a pleasure to listen to you. Any subject you decide to do will be well received. Love your personality and look forward to seeing more.
You could continue your channel and make content about New Zealand 🇳🇿❤️
And carry on some videos about France!! Anyway you lived in France for a long time, it would not be strange 😉
i love that you prioritized family, that's so important, you go girl! I hope you get that cat!
I would definitely love to see your husband's perspective on living in New Zealand.
Carry on with the videos! All the things you mentioned sound great!
Thank you, your great work on the videos helped me to move to France much more smoothier :) Good luck!
Rosie!! Please don't stop the channel!! I think you'll find your new groove and your subscribers will love the content, love the idea of continuing on with the expat videos, you definitely have the authority to do so. But NZ blogs or even having your husband on the channel would be cool! You got this!
Definitely keep going... I imagine you have tons of ideas for content so run with it.
OMG Im from Italy and I'm gonna live in Wellington for the next 5 months!!! So please keep making content about NZ💖
Married to France! Love it. And reverse culture shock and the French things that you picked up that you are keeping sound lovely and fun.
Your accent has become so much stronger no you're back in NZ!!
I think you should continue. You are such a natural and your videos are always enjoyable to watch. I would love to see what it's like to live in New Zealand, especially after having lived in Paris for 6 years! I would love to see you do a series of comparison videos.
I hope you’ll keep posting videos about your new life or we will miss you 😘 Bisous from Paris 🇫🇷❤️
To be introduced to New Zealand the same ways that you've shown your viewers life in France would be wonderful!
sis we'll watch anything; rebrand to Yes Even Kiwi, do NZ vlogs, talk about your experience living in France, whatever. You do you 😌
Keep going. You have full authority or credibility talking about France, no worries. But yeah, teach us a bit more about New Zealand too! Thanks
