Like literally this is EVERYTHING i want to do!! you went every where i wanted to go, and your majoring in what i want to major in! this just made me so much more excited!!
I went on the same exact cruise as you this summer!!! So many great memories on that ship! The staff on Liberty of The Seas is wonderful! I'm glad you had fun and this video helped me so much!
I just got back from Spring Break. I'm studying in Salamanca, Spain and I went to Barcelona, Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice and Milan! I'm from Switzerland and I studied abroad in the US for the last year and it was so awesome! you're the first RUclipsr I like and know that has studied abroad as well! it's so cool! :D
I had gone to Germany for 6 months with erasmus programme&i also travelled the countries and cities where you went Tess :) and i remembered so many memories thanks to you :)) i really miss those amazing magical days,i learned so much things,i became stronger,i met the people from whole around the world,i fell in love with a russian man,i lived unique experiences. There is a huge world to discover outside.Be encouraged, trust yourself, learn everything, travel a lot and have fun, guys :)
I really think you handled it gracefully not telling us where exactly you went to university and stuff. Nowadays you just never now and there are creeps out everywhere. And thanks for the video, I was always curious about your studies abroad since I have to study abroad next semester aswell! And I am actually thinking about England too :)
I'm planning on studying abroad in London too, and I'm so excited. I was a bit iffy about it before watching this video, but now I am 100% that I want to go! It seems like you had an amazing time :)
I'm so happy I studied abroad last year, every time I meet a new college student I ask them if they're considering it because it's truly a once in a lifetime experience. Have a look at my channel for footage of my time abroad. Great, insightful video!
I got to study abroad a couple years ago and also loved it!! It's crazy how once you have studied abroad once you want to travel even more! :) I lived in London and loved it, I would recommend to everyone!! :)
i love London! my dad was born there, and has family there too! i went there a year ago, and it was GORGEOUS i'm going to go again this year, and it is sooooo beautiful! i wish i could go to school there! i went in the beginning of summer and got to see all of the kids getting out of school in their uniforms!
I really want to study abroad now when I go to college. I've always wanted to travel all around Europe or anywhere really and this looks like such a great experience! This looks so much fun!
thank you so much for sharing your experiences with us :) i've been learning French for 6 years now, & i definitely intend to study abroad in France during college.
such a great video tess :) i'm planning on studying abroad next spring and i CANNOT wait! this video made me so much more excited and i know its definitely something i want to invest in now :)
it looks like you had an amazing night!! this makes me even more excited for when i study abroad during my junior year! i'm gonna be going into my sophomore year come this fall but i cant wait to study abroad in england...its been a dream of mine for so long! i loved hearing about your experiences and just getting to hear some more information about the whole process...thanks tess! :)
as someone else that has studied abroad and loved it (in chile &argentina), it only cost me 8200 and that included the flight, housing, school, field trips, and some meals. homesickness happens, &you have to be prepared to deal with it. writing helped me, &you bond with your group &meet people that make the experience distracting enough. also, you can still use your computer&skype! that's just my advice (: it's so worth it.
Shameless self promotion - I'm currently vlogging my study abroad in london. I aim to give a no-shit video of my experiences and offer my advice for people studying in England or anywhere. So if you're thinking about it, or have questions I'm happy to help!!
That is awesome! I am thinking of studying abroad full time in Australia or somewhere else! I was visiting England during the same year you went to study! I missed England still do. I wanted to move to either London or Ripon, York or Scotland! Me and my mom and family friends want to go to Ireland badly! I want to travel to Germany because that is our ancestors were originally from.
Oh my goodness. I really want to study abroad in the U.K. and Europe and I'm very happy that you went. I was wondering if you could maybe make another video about the money part of studying abroad.
I'm glad you had a great time!! If you go to Ireland dont go to dublin, go to killarney co.kerry instead! Its the best tourist place google it! Sooo pretty!
i love the way that you dance in the end! funny!! Im from Denmark (Europe, next to England) and always wanted to go to USA or England. I think you were so lucky to have breaks for so long and travel all over Europe and stuff! Really cool!!
This video made me so jealous! You seriously look like your having the time of your life in all of those pictures and clips :) I'm still in the process of transferring from my community college to a 4 year school and this video definitely made me realize I want to transfer to one that offers several study abroad programs! I hope to have half as much fun as you did. Also, please make more videos with your friends :) You guys are too funny haha
Thank you so much for making this video, it was so informative! I seriously love all the outfits that you wore while you were abroad! Where is your brown leather jacket from?! :)
i moved to london for a year with my family when i was 15 and i loved it so much!! You shouldve visited Spain as well it's amazing. I'm going to study abroad in september too i'm going to finland:) thanks so much for the video xx
wow it sounds like you had an incredible time studying abroad, i really wanna do that! even though i already live in england haha. i've always wanted to travel and i really wanna go back to america and live there. i think the experience would be amazing, thanks for this video! x
I studied in Vancouver, Canada end of last year, start of this year. I'm from Australia and even though it was a high school exchange is was the best experience of my life. If you are even have 1 thought of wanting to go, do it. seriously. there were times when i wanted to go home but it was still the best thing i could have done.... :)
Oh my gosh! I think you stayed in the town i live (i want say the name). Really hope you enjoyed it. Sorry I've just seen this video but Im going to university in September and starting to think about studying abroad. :)
okay, LOVE LOVE LOVE this video!!! :) I will be studying abroad in Spain (Spring 2013) so this video is awesome! What about what to bring (clothes, accessories, hair/makeup products, and shopping)? So many questions I have to ask you! thanks for the video
It depends on what program you go through. If in highschool and you choose to go through rotary, its 5,000. Plus they give you an allowance of $100 every month. Its rather nice. Programs like YFU are around 13,000 which is expensive in my opinion....
Thanks for this video! :) I'm studying abroad in England next summer and I am so so excited but also nervous! Also, where is your jean vest from? (most likely England?) Thanks again! :) Xx
im praying that i can go to the italy study abroad program at my school. SEEMS SO EXCITING! TO GO:D u made me want to go even more when i saw ur vid months ago!:]
Hahaha. I'll switch with you? I want to get out of London. Also, you should go to Germany in December when all the Christmas markets are open. I went to Cologne and it was amazing. X
Hi Pauline, if you live in Belgium its even more easier to get accepted for any kind of study abroad! but first you have to be an university student.. then apply for Erasmus study exchange and they (I mean European Union) even give you money for living in another country :) lots of luck!
Hey Tess! I really loved your video. I have 2 questions. My first one is did you have to pay with your own money for all the travel you did? and my second question is have you ever heard of a show in England called Skins? It's really popular. Thanks for this video it help me a lot!
I'm going into my Sophomore year in college and this video definitely makes me want to study abroad! I'm looking up the various different programs right now actually. :) I was just wondering though it looks VERY expensive! Not to be too personal but how in the world do you even begin to finance a trip like that? Does it come out of pocket or through college loans?
I'm also thinking of studying abroad. :) This video is very helpful, it's great to listen to your story :) And I'm from Poland, I hope you had fun in Krakow :D
You should do a video of 'slang words' u learnt from here in Britian haha I would be so curious as to what phrases and words americans arent familiar with !!xxxx
OH WOW. This video has just made me want to do a Euro trip even more now! I've got such a huge urge to travel, yet not enough money to do it! I don't think my course allows me to study abroad at this point :(
It isn't funny... I'm from Poland so if you don't know to much about World War ,don't say things like that . In Poland, inscription "arbeit macht frei" was on gate to german concentration camp where nazis killed many Polish people and Jews. (sorry for errors, but I don't speak in english well)
That sounds amazing! I live in Ireland an I really want to study abroad in America :D you should definatly come to Ireland -3 you should go to Dublin, Kerry (dingle is the best town) and donegal :)
This looks like so much fun, I really really wanna do this. Was it very expensive? or did your parents pay for it all? and I this where you met your friend alex?
My school has a program where if you study in England you get to stay at the castle where they filmed the harry potter movies which is awesome! I wanted to do it but then i decided not to and I kind of regret it. I did end up going to Italy for a week and a half for vacation though during fall semester last year so that made the decision not to study abroad as not as much of a regret.
I studied a broad once.... AND THEN I MARRIED HER!
I'll show myself out.
Haha
Thank you

I'm studying abroad in Spain next year and this video was awesome because I'm planning on traveling a lot while I'm there, so thanks for the ideas! (:
you're so brave to have done this. i can't imagine leaving my family and friends to travel away for such a long time. xo
That is awesome! I am thinking of studying abroad full time in Australia or somewhere else! I was visiting England during the same year you went to study! I missed England still do. I wanted to move to either London or Ripon, York or Scotland! Me and my mom and family friends want to go to Ireland badly! Sorry! Last sentence "I want to travel to Germany to visit and see where my ancestors originally came from before, England and USA!"
