- @journey is one of the most AMAZING bands ever! We're SOOOOO honored to be playing such a classic from one of the greatest bands and right here in the Bay Area!
This is one of our last shows as 5th graders. Next year, middle school!!

Not bad, but the sax solo replacing the guitar solo sucked.
"Sucked" might be a little strong, but honestly, we agree that we would loved to have kept it with guitar! Definitely would have been better to be closer to the original! @Nealschon is INCREDIBLE and to be able to approach what he does is something we aspire to. We're a young band and guitar is a difficult instrument to master at this age and so we augment and sometimes replace a lot of our guitar solos with sax. As we improve, we will be able to lean more on guitar :)
@@TheGraystonesMusic The intensity of the guitar solo is a huge part of that song. I am not saying the kid playing the sax was bad. I might have been misleading with the way I said it. It just shouldn't have been a sax solo. It is pretty obviously something they did just to give that kid something to do in the song. He might be great at doing... say... Foreigner's Urgent.
@@slyjokerg We LOVE Urgent by Foreigner! And we'll definitely be doing it at some point!! You're right, guitar is certainly the way to go on Don't Stop Believing. And there will be a day where we re-do this song more aligned to the original :) You might want to check out our version of Super Tramp where the sax fits in beautifully.
I think the sax was awesome on this!
In fact, I wish there was more sax. I kept waiting for him to rip into it in the middle of the song.
