Outside mount installation for Allen & Roth blackout cellular shades. 10/30/23 update- definitely makes the room cooler, darker, and more pleasant to be in.

I just wanted to say thank you for this video. I just bought these shades and admittedly I’m not overly handy - I could not figure out how to put the clips on the door and what direction and this helped a ton. I appreciate the video and my shades are now on the door window!

Absolutely the best video on RUclips for installing these blinds. Allen & Roth has horrible instructions with this style of blinds.

There was a metal bar in my blinds and it slid out when I took it out of the package. Do you know where this piece goes? I’m assuming at the bottom, like maybe a weight for the shade

Hmm... don't recall a metal bar. Doesn't say in the instructions?
