This guy does the best job of showing you how to do something. Short, to the point and gives you everything you need to know including tips. I wish this guy did the how-to videos for everything I needed to do.
Thanks a million. The Amazon retailer even sent us to your video prior to us receiving the blinds, saying you were better than the manufacturer instructions.
It easy and here are some tricks I found to make installation even easier. Once I located first hole to drill - I used a compound square to quickly copy mark for next bracket. After drilling one pilot hole for each bracket, I used a 1/4 inch drive socket on my cordless drill and tightened up the screw. With the bracket snug, I then drove in the second screw. Using these tricks cut my installation time in half.
Is there a height limit to the size of the adjustable shade? I want the shade to be as thin as possible. I can either have the shade bar in the middle, top, or bottom. All examples I see that they are tall in various positions, but never pulled together.
The install is great but if someone in the comments could let me know about the working of these blinds? If I pull down to halfway from the top and then pull the bottom down no problem. But if I push the bottom back up again it doesn't stay - just flops back down. What am I missing?
I have cordless top down bottom up cellular shades of an unknown brand where a string has snapped. They have a bottom rail and a top rail and the header rail. The header rail has turning dowels with string loaded. The header rail also has springs attached. One of the strings snapped. I have one loose end at the bottom and another in the headrail. I cannot find a diagram or video to match my style. Suggestions?
Looks like you can buy blind brackets at Home Depot, Lowes, or from online stores. If your blinds are like mine and made by Blinds.com I would call customer service at 800-505-1905 and see if you could get extra brackets from them.
Do you know if these blinds can be installed from the side instead of the top, or if they makes ones that can? Our window is arched so I’d like to install it going across as high as possible before the arch starts. Thanks
The blinds I've removed have a bracket that you release and pivot the blinds out, or a door latch that you raise up slide the blinds out. Then there are screws you need to remove from the brackets.

If you look at 2:38 in the video it shows the blinds pulled together.
This is very helpful. I will be doing an outside mount. I hope it's as straightforward.
Good luck!
You sir made a very clear, easy to follow instructional video. ....... it was > > > P E R F E C T........!!!! Thank You!!! ✍)))
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
Thanks for this great video! Have you considered ClearFit when you purchased? Why didn't you go for the option?
What is that?
I see the install and compliment the video on that. However does anybody have information on how these have the ability to go "bottom-up"?
When installed simply grasp the bottom edge of the blind and lift up to desired height.

Thank you!! Great video
Thanks Kristyn for watching.
Do you have a link for the blinds that you installed?
Here's the link: www.blinds.com/p/blindscom-premium-light-filtering-cellular-shades/530122
Thanks for sharing the link @@Iscaper

These blinds only work as a top mount. You can buy shades that open from the side.
Great job!
Thanks!
Thank you
Welcome!
Did you hit a stud when drilling? Or is it being mounted on drywall?
Most windows are framed in wood so yes the screws were installed into the window frame.
Thanks!
Welcome!
You didn't need any anchors?
There is a solid wooden (header) above the window where he drilled, no anchors are necessary. ✍)))
I was told not to leave them in the middle and that it would ruin them?
I've never heard that.
Apparently I had dud blinds. Ready to put in the install and I have no idea how to get the original ones out. Anyone know?

What color did you get?
Igloo.
Thank you for sharing! Your video made it so simple🙂i threw those instructions away 🗑
Thanks for watching!
But how do they actually work?? I don’t understand
Simply use the lift handles to move the bottom or top of the blind to the position you want.
