Here is an example of simulating the stability of a slope subjected to Rainfall using the Plaxis 2D software, which is based on FEM.
Rainfall intensity = 5 mm/hour
Duration of Rainfall = 30 hours
FS of Slope not subjected to Rainfall= 2.38
FS of Slope subjected to Rainfall = 1.84

I don't have (can't find) fully coupled flow-deformation option in calculation type as for rainfall infiltration.. how can I set this option to be available?

During rain fall the soil loss its suction due to unsaturated case why you not consider unsturated soil parameters in the stability analysis due to rain fall .

Hello, I've been following all the steps but my plaxis 2D dosen't have the "fully coupled flow-deformation", there is a problem with my plaxis ? or I have comited a mistake ?
in plaxis, go to help, license configuration. there select everything and restart plaxis. That should do it.
