You may increase the number of stage constructions, ensuring that the overburden stress doesn’t lead to bearing failure!

I haven't tried using sand columns or improvement methods. But it should work!

Use 'Tutorial-Clay-05' instead of 'Tutorial-Clay-06'

How to simulate loading plate (from steel) in software PLAXIS 2D ?
You need to use plate element and set the property of your desired material.
