Lpvo's are back on the menu boys (orc voice)
If Orcs in the lord of the rings had menus they sure as hell had ar15’s
Best comments I’ve read so far haha 😂🔥
Time Stamps for the Busy Bros out there (watch the whole vid tho)

Excellent points related to passive versus white light. Also, mount height was very helpful. Well done and thorough advice much appreciated.
Great video as always.
The KC1 is a great reticle, enjoying my T6xi so far. Good job with that design.
Great points and considerations, and quite a few points that don't really get emphasized by other people in the space.
Definitely one of the biggest blockers when shopping are reticle choice and scope mount height. @21:00
I'm running the primary arms 1-8 slx. I really like it. Gives me the magnification for weary critters on the farm but 1x for cqb with groundhogs. With a 12 o'clock T2 for passive
Totally agree with everything your preaching, after a couple year's of learning if came to the same conclusions, with mount heights, zeroing at 100y, especially you'll never get better at something until you do it so get out and train, practice, know your gear and it's capabilities
Interesting to hear your thoughts. Remember you can set up caches.
Thank you.
I have an Atibal XV2 1-10x30 FFP. I got a good deal on it with an ADM mount. I mounted it on my LWRCi M6IC-DI 16”. I have a couple of other LPVO’s as well.
Ballistic Drop Compensation. great video, I'll be sure to pass it on.
I wrote it in lol
Good metrics for a decision tree
I appreciate the info on LPVO’s. The real question: Can you kick flip? Don’t matter either way. Just wondering.
Have you had a chance to try out the March 1-10 scopes with the dual focal plane technology? Those things look pretty sick.
These are the most educational and entertaining videos! Both 🧠 💪 and 😆 - love it! Purpose, Price, Weight, Focal Plane, Reticle, Mount / Height

Lpvo so hot right now
I was just going to post this
Push that LPVO
So hot
Smoking a active shooter will do that.
The only thing I would add - although I don't think they are made like this anymore - is that to make sure the reticle and the turrets are same measurements - ie.. MIL reticle and MIlL turrets
Yeah I have seen any made like that anymore
Hey man. I'm setting up my 14.5 as a generalist/rifleman carbine with an LPVO. I got a razor 1-6 in a 1.93 mount (guilty of getting that setup because someone famous recommended it) and then ended up putting an RMR on top for eventual NV. I've been injured and haven't had the chance to run it. I figured in a world of higher and higher mounts that would be perfect for NV, but I also dont have any to test it with yet. Do you think it's a workable setup to run what I've got, or would you not even bother and scrap the 1.93 in favor of a new lower mount? Thanks, really appreciate your informative videos.
Really depends on your body and head shape. I've seen some dudes use a 1.93 and a 12 o'clock mounted rds and it work for them. For the majority, it is usually too high. For that height I prefer a side mounted optic.
I’ve moved to 1.5 mount for my razor 1-6 with top dot. I thought 1.93 was too high for top dot.
I'm testing out a 1.7(lower 1/3) mount on my razor 1-6 and so far I like it a lot. After looking through a friend's 2.1" mount it felt to high to me. 1.7 feels like it's about as high as I can go and still get a good cheek weld. I plan to try a 1.5 next tho. Although last time I tired the 1.5 I felt like I was having to smash my cheek into the stock to find the eye box.
With NV it won’t be quite as high as you’d think, as well it really should just be a backup option and active as your main way to aim. Using an RMR for NV isint awesome haha. If it’s a bit too high I’d cop a badger 1.7 mount, that one’s a crowd pleaser. 😊
@kinetic consulting How do I make a lightweight general purpose rifle without sacrificing magnification, passive & active NV aiming, and barrel length? I find my rifles are topping out at 10-11 pounds, which is not terrible, but not ideal. On the bright side, I’m not lugging the rifle around for 10 miles at a time in a civilian context, but lighter is always better.
You can workout more and make an 11 lbs rifle feel light. The more you actually use it live and dry the more comfy you get using it and welding it's weight. With all that stuff you're stuck to the added weights of the attachments.
Here’s what you do
Throw money at the problem
Use an aimpoint w/ Scalarworks mount and magnifier, NGAL or Wilcox raid (they weigh nothing)
@@maxkuker1878the OGL being the size of a deck of cards is wild but we won’t see that for years on the civilian market. I bet it’s light af
You'll have to start min maxing like they are saying below. You can probably shave weight picking a lighter optic, mount, barrel, handguard, stock, etc. Tradeoffs of course so have to decide what the cut off is for you
Anybody able to say how the Steiner T6XI is compared to the razor 1-6?
They are pretty different, one is sfp and one is ffp. And have different reticles it's like apples and oranges
@@KineticConsulting makes sense, thanks for the reply.
I like lpvo's because i have a bad astigmatism.
Also take into account if it does not have an adjustable parallax it probably will not work with clip-on thermals....
Actually, it can.
@@KineticConsulting I could use some help then, my Razor III will only work on one power, when I try increasing it to three power (or two or one point five) my image goes completely out of focus. What am I doing wrong? Thank you for your time and help!
@@bunnytoo3710 you have to find the right diopter setting. There is a diopter setting for day use and for night use. I'll see if I can make a video on it.
@@KineticConsulting Dude, You ROCK!!
What’s a solid lower end LPVO?
Vortex PST models
Where do you go if you want an LPVO with adjustable parallax?
To the 2-10 from leupold is the closest.
Also the march scopes, as well atibal makes a more budget focused option.
Why is there no book with the Steiner?
Not sure. That's a question for Steiner.
Push with the LPVO, bro
I get this reference. Homie went and rekt that chick.
@@Xrilliam762 pretty sure he used his offset red dot though
@@lgdurocher lol and
Where do you go to buy used scopes?
Some fb groups and tacswap.com. Just be careful, scams do happen
Not who you addressed, but I will deal on facebook groups as well, or arfcom, but I tend to buy from people who do a lot of sales or have established reputations as such that a few thousand bucks would be a really stupid thing to throw their reputation away over.
The C in BDC stands for “cookie”

What's the name of that belton the left!?!?
There are about 7 belts on there. Which one?
The ranger green belt that is just above your elbow on the left that appears to be the last on put on the shelf.
@@yesnt6739 that's the Blue Force Gear belt
Elcan SpectreDR 1-4 FTW!!!
No 1. Is it from primary arms?
That's a dumb #1
@@KineticConsulting That was the idea!
There are plenty at 1500$ that are more than capable to depend your life on.
PA PLX compact 1-8 is a great piece of kit.
