Excellent video. What do you do when it says port not available? I have followed this video and this is still happening. What can I do? Do I leave my mount on? I have the mount pointed north.
Hey, thanks for the great tutorial! I have a question: I have basically the same setup as you (heq5+pds200) and just started the hobby. I have wifi dongle connection to the mount and not USB. In this case the EQ mod software still works or USB connection is mandatory?
Hi, I am sorry but I can't help you with your problem as I don't use a wifi connection. By default EQMOD only works with com ports, however, I can imagine there might be some workaround to get it working with wifi.
Thank you very much, after reviewing your presentation many, many, times I think I can follow. You know you stuff extremely well but your presentation skills are confusing for newbies (I am one). …”you select this window, then select this button..then you see this ..etc, etc..” Often impossible to follow, sorry. You need to name exactly each action, each button, each window over and over again. I guess easy to say for me, I happen to be a professional presentator of high tech stuff and every year we have recurrent courses & exams about how to present complicated stuff to students. If the student or the listener is confused it is not his but our fault.
