prodeous, signalis and vampire survivors and gunfire reborn are my favourite indie games of the year great pastimes from the triple a space i've never been much of an indie gamer but now i know what i've been missing

I'll be honest I haven't actually watched this review, but as a new follower and a lover of all things Indy I will support this now and I will watch it in full after I beat the game. Loving it so far.

I've it said before, but I am a coward that tends to avoid horror games. However, this one seems to be really well done and maybe I could manage, given that you can make it a little easier to fight and actually be able to defend yourself. The fact that it seems to be really well done in general is a massive plus too. I think I might just pick this one up sometime. Thanks for the review.

Glad to hear its good. It's weird, my little sister told me about the haunted PS1 demo disk and we messed around with it coincidently the day the 2022 showcase released. In that showcase this game was shown and was one of my top games from it. Randomly today I show her this game knowing it releases soon and coincidently that day was today. As I thought to myself "lets see when this game releases/released, this is a day one buy" not literally expecting it to release today or to have already released I'm surprised to have literally bought it day one. Can't wait to play it with my little sister!

This game is phenomenonal. Brought it 2 days ago on psn. The sound design is wow! It's not a scary game but he'll it gets under your skin so much.
I have no idea what's going on with the story but I'm only like 2 hours in. Hope it makes sense later.

Trying to see as many reviews as possible for this one. I love anime, sci Fi , and horror - so why does this look meh to me! When the physical releases I hope to find one cheap so I can try it out

Why almost all horror games must have puzzles why why..its maddening....Puzzle games exist for a reason...why infect everything else to :( .. Puzzles...backtracking tedium and inventory management..those flaws of a bygone era that we were kids and didn't know any better should be get rid of...Great review thought

@@IDreamofIndie I love the other aspects of those games,like the story and the atmosphere, but i hate puzzles so usually i have to force play those sections with guides so i can enjoy the rest and that sucks haha.

Just finished one playthrough. And I found out there are so many areas I missed.
I have around 500 games on steam. And played most of them. Signalis is top at least 5 on my list. I have I would say I would rank Alan Wake higher. But Signalis feels better than Resident Evil 1 and is a lot more personal. This game gives me a feeling of wonder and awe. Where the protagonist almost never talks, and trying to understand herself. I relate to that in a personal level.
I recommend this game to anyone who wants to play an unforgettable game.
