SpongeBob was my childhood show when I grew up in the late 2000’s, early 2010’s as a little kid. I absolutely love it!
The best thing about this is with how long running the show is any current generation can honestly say that (though that doesnt mean it's always good obviously)
Mary Jo is just great as Mrs. Puff and it's nice that she is still performing her even after 20 years.
Her voice is just that iconic.

There’s also the running gag of every customer in the Krusty Krab leaving at one. Whether it be out of fear, annoyance, disappointment, anger, disgust, or any other reason.

I really love the Christmas episode; not only did Squidward get humbled, but Squidward ended up playing an on-tune and nice ditty at the end.
Dee Baker was great as the new narrator in "Can You Spare a Dime."
My younger brother and I told our mom about "MY LEG!!" for YEARS, and she didn't believe us! We finally got her to watch an older episode, and showed her that, indeed, it was real. Now, we all say "MY LEG!!" whenever we hurt ourselves, and it's awesome.

i miss SpongeBob and by that i mean the humour of the first 2 (or 3) seasons, not only its jokes but also physical comedy which is overexaggerated nowadays. it was so much more clever and entertaining than the newer episodes. that holds true for any media that came out around that time so i guess i mean to say i miss when people actually made funny cartoons, movies and tv shows. i miss that generation of entertainers.

I agree. The newer episodes aren't funny and the humor is forced. I won't lie, I laughed at some of the modern jokes but it's rare compared to the first few seasons, I couldn't stop laughing or was laughing a good portion of the episodes.

Are we just going to ignore the fact that the Krusty Krab gets destroyed on a regular basis? It’s no wonder Mr. Krabs is obsessed with money when he has to constantly rebuild his restaurant from the ground up. And the causes only grow in ridiculousness. I think my favorite one was when Spongebob blew up the Krusty Krab trying to clean a spot off of a plate.
I think the running ukulele music also deserves a mention.
I have three boys who all use to watch SpongeBob. I have seen every single episode that was shown in the video. Even tho SpongeBob drives me crazy, the chocolate one always cracks me up

10:32 also when Plankton takes advantage of Mr. Krabs’ love of money to use “goo-goo gas” to turn Krabs into a baby when he enters a phone booth to check for loose change in order to take the key to the Krusty Krabs. (It didn’t work though, because Krabs was a little bigger than Plankton imagined)

Regarding Number 2, "Spongebob failing his boating test", there's a legit reason behind that. Spongebob tends to get nervous behind the wheel. Once a driver gets nervous behind the wheel, failure is inevitable.
Furthermore, it’s not just that SpongeBob is a terrible student-it’s that Mrs. Puff is a terrible teacher.
@@pooky-changaming4089 Now that you bring it up, when Mrs. Puff decided to give Spongebob an easy out to give him his license and shortly discovers his parents got him a brand new ride, Puff gave the implication that the idea of moving to a new town and starting a new boating school under a new name had happened before after doing something similar, with the "bad student" also being given an easy out.
My favorite running gag is what I like to call "Water Illogicals", such as electricity and fire working underwater or there being extra bodies of water underwater, where fish can drown. People who have done "sins" against the show usually mention one of these things happening, though I think the writers know this and don't care, as it's purposefully put in the show as "wild and crazy".
People who "sin" shows and movies judge them based on our world instead of judging it based on the media's world, which doesn't make sense given that most of the time, cartoons exist in an alternate reality and therefore have an entirely different logic to them, which is something some people don't get.
Anyway, I love the running "Water Illogicals" gag, it's quirky and interesting, especially since Sandy can't breathe in the "surface" water.
😂😂😂I never really knew this Fred character very much or bother giving a damn to know him, but either way, I will say he is an important background character, considering all he says is my leg whenever he’s injured either it’s due the SpongeBob’s antics or just any sort of antic that happens🤣🤣🤣
