"Unlike Adam West, James Woods actually played himself."? Seriously? "Unlike" Adam West? He was a semi-regular on the show until his death... Oh my god! It wasn't mentioned that some of these celebs actually voiced themselves, like KISS, Leno, Jenner, Ryan Reynolds...
I commented something similar but I think what they must’ve meant is that James Woods played the actual James Woods whereas Adam West played a fictionalized character that had the same name. He wasn’t portraying Adam West as we know him. If that’s what they meant though they didn’t word it well. Or maybe they really just don’t know.
So I’m not the only one that heard them say unlike Adam West that James Woods was voiced by himself every appearance. I was about to comment the same thing as you, because Adam West was Adam West every appearance. I miss him so much, he was my favorite part of the show, even After it started to go downhill.
They left out mentioning the episode where everyone and everything Peter touched turned into Robin Williams and the famous 2 part episode where James Woods tricked everyone in Quahog to come to that mansion
The episode “Stevie Takes a Drive” with Ryan Reynolds is legit one of my all time favorite episodes of the entire series!!! It is absolutely hilarious!!!
'Shit' has never been bleeped on WatchMojo. There's quite a few of their videos that say that word, multiple times, usually its a clip, the presenters never say it, however.
Tom Cruise most likely DID NOT find those funny. He's incredibly self conscious about his short stature up to the point where he wears platform shoes and stands on stools and chairs and shit if an actress is taller than him, if he even allows them to be in his movies if they are taller than him, he's been known to throw a fit if you cast actresses taller than him in his movies. He very much does not have a sense of humor about himself much. You remember south park? He wanted to sue and pushed for that to never air....Well I guess his character in Tropic Thunder, but that wasn't really him making fun of himself, more like Making fun of Hollywood bigwigs and execs.
KISS Saves Santa is still a Christmas Special that I would TOTALLY watch and should TOTALLY be a thing and it's funny how similar Scooby Doo Meets KISS is to the movie "Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park"
I think the best part of the episode featuring OJ as a character was at the end, when he delivers a heartfelt speech about how it is wrong to judge someone without knowing them... Then, he brutally murders a few people, with Peter acknowledging that the original murders did happen, too.
Wait, you segued from Tom Brady to Jay Leno and DIDN'T mention their overlap with Leno verbally harassing and physically assaulting Brady?! Missed opportunity there...
Unlike Adam West James Woods actually plays himself?, sorry WatchMojo but I can't let that one slide, Adam West did voice himself, his character's name was mayor West, and his first name was Adam, he was one of the funniest characters on Family Guy because he said and did the craziest things, like Peter
A super simple google search will tell you Adam west definitely voiced his character. That’s why they retired the character when he died. This is not the gotcha moment you thought it was. If you wanted to correct something you should have caught how they claimed quahog is in New England instead of Rhode Island despite later in the video Peter literally mentions being in Rhode Island
7:49 I wonder what gave them that idea? He oddly had Katie Holmes forced at home via invisible fence till Stewie in that stimulation of attempting to conquer the world, cut the world's power grid.
Ya missed the jab a Chevy chase when peter and Brian went back in time to fix peters relationship with Louis after peter messed up the timeline thus causing Lois to be with quagmire...it was something on the line of a comedy show that was hosted by someone else and Chevy took over making peter realize he messed up big time
Adam West did actually voice mayor Adam West up until his death. So I’m not sure why they alluded to James Woods voicing himself unlike Adam West. Maybe they mean he played the actual James Woods whereas Adam West played a fictionalized character that was supposed to be a spoof of Adam West.
Top 10 celebrities who always support each other as friends instead of lovers: 5. Julia Roberts & George Clooney 4. Jennifer Aniston & Paul Rudd 3. Anne Hathaway & Huge Jackman 2. Scarlett Johansson & Chris Evans 1. Kate Winslet & Leonardo DiCaprio
How about when they said " and the Emmy for biggest possy goes to Jarule " and Madonna stands up and says "WHAT" and than Stewie says no Madonna it's possy POSSY !!!
I think alec Baldwin breastfeeding is a comment on him supporting his brothers financially. And the hungry hippos balls are not colored, they're white, so at best they're shaded. 👍. Love family guy for these types of meta jokes
That's exactly the joke they're making: that his brothers are all riding off of his success. The problem with these double entendre jokes is that they're too smart for a portion of the audience who will just take them at face value. Another example: the Porsche owner trying to smell her own fart, which is meant to represent Porsche drivers as "up their own ass" (a common phrase for acting like you're above everyone).
would it beconsidered "roasting" in that Simpsons eps where Homer confuses Alec with "Billy" (William) Baldwin? And continually mispronounces Kim Basinger's name?
They missed the episode the guys were telling stories of their past to their kids, and Cleveland Jr asks "why DID you have a white Bronco, daddy?" To which Cleveland replies, "I was helping my friend OJ and his wife's head get to Mexico." They also missed the futuristic episode, when Peter is fake dying, and Stewie fixes up their house, and all the roads are named after Tom Brady. They also missed Jenner's USO show!!
I know she wasn’t a celebrity but the Terri Schiavo was the one time on the show I thought they may have gone over the line. I still found it was humorous but I can see a lot of people being upset about it
The thing with Travolta is that the rumors aren't all about him simply being gay, they're about non consensual intercourse. However, family guy 'joking' about that would open the door to a huge lawsuit. Once the accusation of non consensual sex caught up with Keven Spacey, he tried to make it look as if people were outing him for being gay (As amazing an actor he was, that was such a disgusting and spineless move)...I may be wrong, but I think that Family Guy's people are making fun of Travolta for similar reasons......but I could be wrong...But tbh, Family Guy, especially after the first decade doesn't seem to have issues with gay people who just happen to be in consensual relationship......of course they end up making fun of pretty much everyone for pretty much every possible reason, but I don't think that Travolta's case is just about his sexual orientation....then again, I'm not in the writers' room.
Lmao the best joke i've heard on that is when someone at a comedy central roast said...caitlyn jenner....just did the operation which proves no one in that family wants a white dick....LMAO That was great.
Actually not much. They usually get away with a lot. Same with Simpsons and South Park. Anytime someone tries to sue any of them, they usually are protected under the first amendment and the cases almost always get dismissed.
As I was watching this video--seeing the way that people like George W. Bush and others were portrayed. I noticed that there were zero Democratic Presidents/politicians 'parodied'. That got me to thinking back to the early days of SNL and the way Chevy used to play President Ford constantly tripping and falling down stairs and I realized they don't do the same for the former VP Joe Biden who has actually fallen more often than the one time that Ford did it. I recalled the attacks they made on President Trump--often using the disproven rumors about him--and Sarah Palin on SNL. While in the sketches with Tina Fey (Sarah Palin) Amy plays HRC and they portray her as so smart. This is telling, it shows that Hollywood has been PUSHING and AGENDA for almost 60 years.
Very true. I don't find any of it "good natured" because the jokes go only one way. If the obvious jokes about the Clintons aren't made (they make a few but it's very few) then the bias is obvious.
That's interesting....Seth MacFarlane is very much an outspoken and unapologetically Democratic....I never really understood why they portrayed Ford that way on SNL it was probably all Chevy....but I'm not sure why the portrayed him so clumsy like that, in all my research I've never found any evidence pointing to reinforcing SNL's view on him. I think there was a time Ford tripped, like once, before he was president....but...but that's it?? I never understood that...SMH, Chevy....
@@cceja688 No. He did. Bush did quite enjoy the jokes about him. he leaned into it. He helped with a lot of the jokes. He's even listed the best parodies of him that he considers to be top-tier comedy. And some of the comedians he mentions weren't exactly nice.

James woods is the most polarizing figure. He doesn't like being made fun of, but is more than happy to make fun of himself lol
Some of my favorite episodes of Family Guy were the ones with James Woods. My personal favorite was “And Then There Were Fewer”.
Ooh, piece of candy!

@@julesstephenson8935 yeah I don't know how they could mess up the name of the actor that voiced one of the most iconic family guy characters
Honorable Mentions:
* Michael Jackson
* Charlie Sheen
* Kanye West
* Linsay Lohan
* Ellen DeGeneres
Add in Matthew McConaughey
Seth famously hates him and took multiple jabs at the actor
Chris Brown
Fun fact: Charlie Sheen voiced himself once. The others mentioned didn't, however.
Adoif hilter
Liam Neeson

The best Family Guy jokes are the brutally offensive ones! 😂
Happy June everyone!
The episode “Stevie Takes a Drive” with Ryan Reynolds is legit one of my all time favorite episodes of the entire series!!! It is absolutely hilarious!!!
Robin probably laughed at the jokes they made about him too.
Yeah, the man knew how to make us laugh.
That moment at 6:38 when they didn't even bleeped out Peter's swear
It’s at 6:48 actually
'Shit' has never been bleeped on WatchMojo. There's quite a few of their videos that say that word, multiple times, usually its a clip, the presenters never say it, however.
You left out that KISS Saves Santa was in large part a jab at KISS' cheesy TV special "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park" from the late 1970s.
John Travolta is a good guy so if he saw or heard of the jokes he probably laughed at them...Tom Cruise too most likely laughed at the short jokes.
I doubt that Tom Cruise would've laughed. Remember South Park?
As long as you don't make fun of scientology to george
