    Amen Brother. Jesus Christ is the 'man' created in Gods Image. (Gen 1: 26)
    1Co 15:20 - 13 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
    1Co 15:42 - 49 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
    Eph 2:13 - 19 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
    Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
    Amen

      There are a lot of videos of this on the internet, but it all comes down to the fact that the Trinity is indeed a salvific issue. It's one thing to not understand it; but a whole other thing to deny it. If one doesn't hold to the Trinity, then you have lost God's identity. Therefore it is reasonable to question the salvation of those that don't follow the Trinitarian God, since you are not worshipping the same God of the Bible. I'm generally very ecumenical and am not quick to question the salvation of others, but this is one thing Christians must be dogmatic about.

    Actually the Hypostatic union as defined in Chalcedon did not make a whole lot of sense. It painted a Nestorian figure, yet said they both natures existed together in one person without division, yet without mergence and without one interfering with the other, a paradox. So if Jesus did not know the day or the hour of his return, they say he didn't know in his human nature. Okay, so why didn't he just pop over to his divine nature and tell us when he's coming back? So, a better understanding is when in the flesh he kept his identity as the Logos, but became a man, given the Holy Spirit without measure, and did teachings and miracles, not by his own power, but the Holy Spirit, directed by the Father. After his ascension he now has the fulness of the attributes of deity in him.

      Hebrews 4:15 (KJV) For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin.
      The verse is explaining how our high priest (Jesus) is not far from us - in our weakness we can draw on Him. As in Matthew 4, Jesus experienced temptation as we all do throughout our lives. In this, we can relate to Him.
      He is fully man and fully God. And in Him is no sin. Yet He still endured temptation nevertheless.
      1 John 3:5 (KJV) And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

    Sorry Onorato but "hypostasis" is a Roman Catholic term unshamadely taken from "notions of philosophical origin"
    (www.vatican.va/archive/ENG0015/__P17.HTM refers)
    Catechism of the Catholic Church, second edition
    PART ONE (THE PROFESSION OF FAITH)
    SECTION TWO (THE PROFESSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH)
    CHAPTER ONE (I BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER)
    ARTICLE I ("I BELIEVE IN GOD THE FATHER ALMIGHTY, CREATOR OF HEAVEN AND EARTH")
    Paragraph 2. The Father
    III. THE HOLY TRINITY IN THE TEACHING OF THE FAITH
    251 In order to articulate the dogma of the Trinity, the Church had to develop her own terminology with the help of certain notions of philosophical origin: "substance", "person" or "hypostasis", "relation" and so on. In doing this, she did not submit the faith to human wisdom, but gave a new and unprecedented meaning to these terms, which from then on would be used to signify an ineffable mystery, "infinitely beyond all that we can humanly understand".
    252 The Church uses (I) the term "substance" (rendered also at times by "essence" or "nature") to designate the divine being in its unity, (II) the term "person" or "hypostasis" to designate the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in the real distinction among them, and (III) the term "relation" to designate the fact that their distinction lies in the relationship of each to the others.
    253 The Trinity is One. We do not confess three Gods, but one God in three persons, the "consubstantial Trinity". The divine persons do not share the one divinity among themselves but each of them is God whole and entire: "The Father is that which the Son is, the Son that which the Father is, the Father and the Son that which the Holy Spirit is, i.e. by nature one God." In the words of the Fourth Lateran Council (1215), "Each of the persons is that supreme reality, viz., the divine substance, essence or nature.
    254 The divine persons are really distinct from one another. "God is one but not solitary." "Father", "Son", "Holy Spirit" are not simply names designating modalities of the divine being, for they are really distinct from one another: "He is not the Father who is the Son, nor is the Son he who is the Father, nor is the Holy Spirit he who is the Father or the Son." They are distinct from one another in their relations of origin: "It is the Father who generates, the Son who is begotten, and the Holy Spirit who proceeds." The divine Unity is Triune.
    These are not biblical terms, especially the word "Trinity".
    Godhead is the term used 3 times in the KJV.

    Could you explain the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, cause from what i could understand he didn't have the faith necessary to receive eternal life and this reflected in his treatment of Lazarus, cause even Abraham said that if his brothers and I'm thinking this also includes him, that if they did not believe Moses or the prophets not even bringing Lazarus back could convince them, so he wasn't truly a believer lest it would be seen in his treatment of his neighbor right?

    • @kyleharrison9535
      @kyleharrison9535 7 месяцев назад

      It’s not about ‘not truly being a believer’ or not ‘having enough faith’. Lazarus believed in Christ and so was at Abraham’s bosom yet the rich man did not believe so was therefore in hell.
      Luke 16:23 (KJV) And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
      Luke 16:30-31 (KJV) 30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. 31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
      The rich man wished that Lazarus could testify to his (living) family so that they could believe and be saved and not have to experience the torment of hell that he is in. However, Abraham explains that if they won’t listen to the prophets, they also will not listen to a man rising from the dead(Lazarus).
      This is ultimately a lesson on the permanence of hell and the urgency of placing your faith in Christ today to be justified and saved.

    • @villanousvic323
      @villanousvic323 7 месяцев назад

      @@kyleharrison9535 That's what i was saying though, and it reflected in his actions and treatment of his neighbors aka Lazarus, cause if he believed wouldn't he have had mercy on Lazarus and given him at least the crumbs of his table or better yet some of his fresh food, I'm not saying it's by works but rather that his faith would have pushed him to act on it and help Lazarus?

    • @kyleharrison9535
      @kyleharrison9535 7 месяцев назад

      @@villanousvic323 But if the rich man had faith in Christ and never helped Lazarus he still would never end up in hell. It is not our works that condemn us but unbelief. The rich man and Lazarus isn’t a story of living a Godly life, it is a story of the permanence of hell, even to those who have many material riches on earth. We shouldn’t look to actions as evidence of salvation but to the Word of God. Jesus warns the Pharisees of this:
      Matthew 23:28 (KJV) Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
      Because even an unbeliever could have helped Lazarus with food etc, but if he never placed his trust in Christ he would be condemned.
      Titus 3:5 (KJV) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
      Hope this helps a little, just my understanding. God bless

      Error is not the same thing as adding or removing, and despite what legalistic KJVonlyists will tell you; neither is reading a Bible translation they disagree with. People are wrong on a lot of things. Faith in Christ saves, not secondary doctrinal issues.

    • @MetanoiaAndBelieve
      @MetanoiaAndBelieve 7 месяцев назад

      @@ihiohoh2708 how to tell if my church is truly legalistic? Where I go we only read from the KJV. The statement of faith on the website says "The King James Bible is the “final authority for all matters of faith and practice”
      There's little NT being preached. Lot of OT. They take up tithes and offerings and do alter calls. Tithing is under the law. Alter calls from what I understand are not biblical. Men cannot wear jewelry like necklesses and women can't wear pants. There's gross mishanding of scripture, like the passage in Matthew 7 that talks about how you'll know false prophets by their fruit. I've heard that passage twisted or taken out of context. Some people there think Jesus went to hell (Jesus never went to hell, he went to paradise) I tried to expose and correct many things I caught only to be told to sit down basically. And the biggest thing is, I don't trust hardly anyone there...I trust only 5-8 people max. I love everyone there but too much law abidance and mixing of law with grace.
      Lastly, it is a IFB (independent fundamental Baptist) church.
