I have these in my building and there's nothing I can really do to completely rid myself of them since it's a massive 22 floor apartment complex that hundreds of people live in, and they most likely enter my unit through someone else's.
Every time I see one it pisses me off and ruins my day

My personal favorite way to get rid of these pests is to break their spawner, and then destroy any nearby blocks that are infested.

Building managers are crooks. Don't feel bad for them, they make a living off of enabling crappy owners. Feel bad for the little critters, the silverfish. They're harmless and probably doing a lot more good than the building manager & owner. Keep your floors clean and they'll go somewhere else to find food.

One of the best ways I have found…. Moth balls!!! Place them under your mattress, in draws, under the silk… so forth.
And finally crush the moth balls, and place the powder all around the rooms cracks “for example the cracks dividing the wall, and the floor”….
Every night rub yourself with lavender oil mixed with your body lotion so they will stay far away from you, and your laundry basket do to the leftover scent…
Wash your floors and walls with bleach water, everyday for at least a week.
Put dried whole cloves, crushed cinnamon sticks, and lavender stems all over your home in little drawstring bags in the couch, under your bed, in your closet you name it.
Spoil yourself with scented candles, and defusers they hate strong scents…
Get a night lap in the rooms they are most present as they hate light.
It’s a process but once they are gone it is so worth it, plus this will keep them from ever coming back repeat this at least every 3 months.
