If you open your camera app in the closed position of the fold, it gives you an option to take selfie in the same spot. The main difference is the main screen stays black and all the camera controls are on the front screen once you unfold it.
If you don't own this phone you're missing out on an incredible full featured phablet!!!! 6 months later and I'm still learning this phone because of the loaded features!!!! Its hard to remember all the options and features you have with this phone!!!! My wife who was against any folding phone liked mine so much she went and got her one and now we both say we will never go back to a traditional phone!!! The possibilities are endless!!! Main reason I see people not wanting this phone is because of the cost. My wife and I are not wealthy by far but we looked at it like this. We own/owned alot of electronics. Due to this basically all in one device we now have no need for our laptops they are collecting dust which are pretty new, also we no longer use our tablets because of this phone. The only electronics we feel the need to keep is our smart tv's which by the way we can link our phones to the tv's we own via Samsung Dex depleting the need for any computer, tablet, or laptop. We are thinking of selling those items and used or not we would make our money back and some making the cost of our phones obsolete. So if price is holding you back maybe look at my point of view. You no longer need a house full of electronics. Take a look at what you're buying here. You're basically buying a computer, laptop, tablet, portable TV, 5 cameras, 5 video cameras, a nook, if you spend another 100 or so bucks to get an s pen foldable edition ($50) with a case ($50+), you're depleting the need to buy anything paper/pencil/pen/marker related. Drawing, Sketching, Coloring, Jotting notes, etc etc all cost money if you're in to those things. Just think in the long run this phablet would pay for itself 10 times over!!! I'm sure there is more I'm missing but you get my point. I haven't even touched the fact that you get all of that in a foldable device that fits in your pocket and can travel with it easily. Is there cons? Of course there is and what device doesn't have cons!! There is always room for improvement but right now this phablet touched on me and my wife's needs and some!!! Is it fir everybody? Maybe not but I think it has its place for majority in this day and age of technology. 6 months later and I'm still getting the wow factor from people when I unfold this incredible tech!!! I'm not here to sell this but I'd hate to see so many people miss out on an incredible device without at least taking a leap in faith. I was sold from day one!!! Mist phone companies will give you a grace period to try a new phone out and if you don't like it take it back so what is there to lose. My phone company allows you to try a new device for 7 days I do believe and if you don't like it return it. I'm not 100 percent sure on it but I never needed to doubt this phone from the gate. Hell I'm an avid samsung enthusiast for tears now and never had any issues with any samsung products so I've stuck with what I know is quality to me. I can't wait for what samsung has in store for devices and I'll be there for every one of them!!!
I have taken 13 of your tips (1 I had already done anyway) which is the most "personalised" I have ever er made to a new phone in my lifetime of mobiles. As a 53 Yr old lady I don't use all functions of previous phones, however I want to get more out of new phone from my Husband so thank you.

Seriously good video. Concise and to the point. You go at a manageable speed. My fold is a blast and I dont have to worry about carrying a tablet. I will do photoshoots / photo booth and will have images sync from my camera to my phone. I can now do blemish control and other edits with lightroom - on my phone! It pairs well with my wireless printer so now my workflow is improved without having a laptop with me.

I started out with android and then switched to the iPhone after the Note 4. I thought I would never go back to an android. A friend of mine purchased the fold 3 and I was so impressed I decided to trade in my iPhone 11 pro max and get one myself. Well 2 week's later and I am absolutely hooked on this phone. It's a beautiful piece of machinery. I can't keep my hands off of it. The smart switch app was also seamless in porting all of my info over from my iPhone. I'm sold!!!
They both have pros & cons. I will say the iPhone has the best battery efficiency I’ve ever seen. The Fold 3 battery takes a hit if you use the unfolded display a lot… but having a screen that big in your pocket is magical.
Hi love your videos, I wonder if you can answer a question that no one else will. I have an archive of photos and documents about 25 mb in size. As the Z Fold has no micro card slot how can I put the archive on the phone with out photos ect leaching out other apps on the phone like drop box or Gallery so doubling up all the time. Another tip for the selfie camera if you start the camra app while the z fold is closed and hit the selfie button at the top right the z fold will prompt you to unfold it and instead of just a display of your picture you get all the modes and picture button on the cover screen as well. Only when in candy bar mode no idea why.
When using camera, it offers me couple of different aspect ratios to choose from. I really like 4:5 because it filles the screen really nice, but it feels like it just crops out to make it 4:5. How do I know which aspect ratio is the native one? I guess that I can always crop photos later if I really want to...

Camera enthusiasts this guy missed on the correct way to take selfie with rear cameras without having to reach around to the big screen to take the pic. All you do is open camera through cover screen instead of the big screen and choose the same button in the corner and flip phone around and you'll have a physical button on that side. Basically what he showed was a preview for the people you're taking a picture of so they can see what they look like before you snap. Much easier then reaching around the other side

I've had a zfold 3 since Feb 2022, dropped it and did claim in March, in Oct 22 did a claim cause "phablet" portion of screen started bubbling that's closest thing I can think to call it. I Did another claim. Been very careful n cautious since then. I keep a microfiber towel cleaning it often throughout the day..." just because"! My question is in the area where u use your thumb to scroll. The thumb print can be wiped away with the microfiber towel but still comes back slightly larger over time. Still continues to wipe away but it comes back and it appears wider or longer each time. Would that be part of the reason the big screen malfunctions over time. I see others on YT with screen issues as well. Any thoughts? Or was this phone only supposed to be used with the stylus? And no one told us. I only know 2 people with this type phone, so just inquiring thank you

Multitasking doesn't work on my ZFold3 as you describe it: I tap on an icon and it opens the app - there's no pin right/left option. Any suggestions anyone?

I am loving my fold 3. I was nervous about trading my N20U, but it's great. The only setting I haven't already done (I can't find and have never needed before) is for folder names. They've always shown right underneath each app folder, but mine aren't. If I tap on the folder, it shows when it pops up, but I don't want to have to keep tapping on multiple folders to find the one I want. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks, but they are all turned up. It just frequently changes to vibrate . I just keep on having to scroll down from the top and press twice on the sound icon to switch back to Sound being On (the first press Mutes it)

Another tip I got from Greggles, turn off wifi location scanning. It drains your battery. The difference in my screen on time is absurd.

It really depends on how much you use the unfolded display. It is an awesome bit of kit though. Apart from the Mate X2 there’s really nothing like it.

If you go to setting / sound and vibration / volume. Check all the 4 volume levels are turned up
