I never understood why Bobby Pulido was so popular. He isn’t a particularly great vocalist. His dad is far better or was, anyway (ya esta viejo el Primo). The people love him but I don’t see WHY???
It is and always has been about catchy tunes, or tunes that get you dancing. It may not be to your liking, but he's got something that appeals to the masses. I feel the same way about the latest Edinburg TX sensation. I don't see/hear alot of talent there, but they got a lucky break on TikTok and now they are taking the industry by storm worldwide. Good promotion also goes a long way!
