It always made me not just want to go out and skate, but also just enjoy the act of riding a skateboard. It also made me want to shop at thrift stores, visit SF and live in urban areas.
I was just thinking how amazing it would be to go back in time to like 1900 in san francisco with a skateboard, you'd be able to bomb all the hills you wanted and you wouldn't have to worry about getting hit by any cars

this was my neighbor/best friend's favorite skateboarder. we lost him in 2015. i miss him everyday...
