Good video, but I never understood why people making videos about NFS 2 or 4 always ignore views from the cockpit. Interior view was great and would have been interesting to see how it evolved as well!

You missed the car selection menu from NFS High Stakes (PS1). The PS1 version was a masterpiece at the time (gameplay, menu design, music)! Especially when the Mclaren F1 GTR appears on screen.

Most Wanted 2012 is worse than the games realesed in the 1990s (NFS 3 Hot Pursuit, NFS 4 High Stakes etc.) but also worse than more recents NFS like Hot Pursuit 2010 (also by Criterion) or Most Wanted 2005

I'm not sure if you know this, but Black Box, the original creator of HPII, came on initially for this game to be a PS exclusive. Eventually though after production, they wanted to make it cross platform. Unfortunately, Black Box would not do that process all over again 🤣🤣 so they had to use someone else. So the games on other platforms are almost entirely different from the PS version. Including the visual quality, it's much worse

The McLaren F1 is one of my favorite cars ever. It has always been. I remember driving it in Need For Speed II. My childhood game.
I also played a lot Need For Speed High Stakes but I lost the game when I was 8 years old. That game was better than NFS 2.
