I take Irish dance class, and that first step was wrong! You also forgot to say that you have to kick your bum. If you want to learn this, take Irish dance class.

It was done to make it easier to copy
She's doing it as a "mirror image", a very common was to teach Irish dance. Children get it, no trouble. Adults find it more difficult!
