been searching this vid for over a year now. thank you so much for uploading!!
thank you Felix
I love how he waves towards the crowd after his vocal intro like he was waving away the friendly demon that was momentarily possessing him
It's kinda rude to start an applause break in the middle of a performance. I wonder if he was waving in irritation
@@mrpicklesful I wouldnt call it irritation but it was definitely an "alright alright hold your horses ya crazy kids" purpose
Major Q Holley aka "Mule" was a friend of mine. He was known to tease classical music and standards when he played Arco bass style. The wave was an intentional gimmick.
I've seen parts of Laughing with Rhythm here, and was desperately looking for the whole performance. Thank you!
Major is a master of the bass and live performance, Akira is great on the trap set, and the whole band swings.
In the early '70's I used to watch, and listen, to him as he played in the big window of a club in Greenwich Village, NYC., as I walked my dog.
"'Scuze me while I disappear...."😂❤❤ 11:57
My dad used to drill in my head “if you can’t say it. You can’t play it”Stuck with me this far 😂
11:56 best part :Dd
Major Holley, Slam Stewart e companhia são lendas que foram completamente à frente de seu tempo. Admiração total!
Merci de nous permettre d'écouter avec une telle qualité ces thèmes interprétés par un bassiste extraordinaire
Major! You are still extraordinary and unique! Very good musicians in that group and very easy to join the tune! VG sound pickup 😁😄👌!
