None get this ability within one week or one work. The talent just appear for those who are extremely dedicated and are focus on what they want. Congratulation, it's a wonderful work. Exciting.

      Also , just found this vid from the same uploader on realistic skin in blender.
      ruclips.net/video/Q8XWklyl0Dc/видео.html
      ;)

    • @josephbrandenburg4373
      @josephbrandenburg4373 5 лет назад +12

      @Mariano This is easily doable at the shader level in Blender. Also, The sculptor didn't add skin micro-details. He also wouldn't have done that in ZBrush. He quit working when he felt the work was done.
      If you absolutely must have micro-detail in geometry, it's definitely possible in Blender using multi-res. Of course Z-Brush is better for this sort of thing, but in the pipeline, it all becomes a normal/displacement map in the end anyway. If you're just sculpting, again, far better in Blender to just use adaptive subdivision with a painted displacement map.

      This program should be great for plastic surgery or even neurosurgery relating to tumors and cancers. The artist could predict local growth or swelling and illustrate the effects on nearby veins and arteries or other brain functions.
      With a plausible cause and effect demonstration this could be a very handy tool for a surgeon.
      This could be used in cell implant and facial sculpting for a burn victim as well.

    Beautiful sculpting! Who are playing the Beethoven? A bit fast but it has character.

    Excellent work! The Beethoven sonata made this very enjoyable to watch. It was like your grandmother had her own musical theme. :D I just subscribed, and I look forward to more like this!

    hey I'm a beginner sculptor and I'm struggling with facial anatomy, is there any chance you could direct me to some free resources I could use to get myself started?

      I study with books and I'm not very put in the free resources, I do not recommend them to you because they usually have errors. I recommend a book that I think is easy to get: Human anatomy for artist. The elements of form. Eliot Goldfinger

      there's an online version freely readable (probably it's a bit old, but I think human anatomy didn't change too much in the last few decades ;-) ) here: www.scribd.com/doc/106203113/Eliot-Goldfinger-Human-Anatomy-for-Artists-the-Elements-of-Form
