On a grey and sad snowy day, it’s comforting to see that we are capable of designing and building something this beautiful and glorious. It’s a masterpiece, and yet it moves… really quickly.
I agree. A Japanese in an Italian outfit. But with looks of a Ducati and reliability of a Kawasaki. There should be buyers. A few years down the line I wouldn't be surprised to find the front swingarm on the original H2.
I like the looks (aside from the stock exhaust) but I’d like to hear more details about the front end. I like it when companies are willing to try something different from conventional forks.
Yea same, was expecting him to go into more detail about the front assembly (the one unique thing) rather than talk about the engine which we’ve already known for almost a decade
ELF Honda was the first I know about to use the front end concept in 500cc GP with Ron Haslam. Yamaha used the concept on their prototype RADD bike in the mid eighties.
I had the 2016 Ninja H2 it was a vwonderful experience to own. After owning every style of bike on and off road, including some road racing in my life, it certainly was the best experience as far as street bikes are concerned. I have always thought a conglomerate of parts sourcesd from the best manufacturers would be the ultimate in motorcycling experience. Here is an example of Italian culture and class coupled with the most exciting sophisticated modern four cycling inline engine from KHI I would absolutely LOVE to own it, but hate to think of the price of this beast 😮
@@JelloThatsMellow He rode off into the sunset on a Honda 90 grateful to still have his life! (...that's almost what I did after selling my Blackbird.) 🙂
Wow, such a stunning superbike...H2 with different brand and appearance. No wonder Tesi H2 can use the most powerful and advance engine from Kawasaki Ninja H2, since Bimota mother company is Kawasaki. Welcome another supercharged superbike. Bravo...
It's great that there are still manufacturers out there designing these impractical beauties. Be it cars or bikes, the day people stop making these will be a sad day.
Some lovely styling cues and you have to salute the powerplant. The front end is innovative and that's good to see. $90K USD is a show stopper though for the market. Way rather have the garage filled with a handful of $20K bikes.
@Thumper I thought it would be 100k-120k rather than 60k hahaha. There’s enough “special edition” bikes that are just a different paint job and cost more, but this bike at least has some different engineering going on. It’s a lot but I’m not the target market for this bike anyway. Where do you live that a 5 bedroom house and land is £40,000/$47,000usd/$62,000cad?
I like bikes with a long wheelbase on the track, you can have much more fun on the throttle. I couldn't care less about lap times - just the fun of it.
Of course the back end will lift. The geometry of the front pivot point do stop/reduce the front end dive. But the back wheel will lift under braking. Would've been good to have a camera setup to film the front end under braking.
It's not so much about dive; they actually engineer-in a bit of dive. It's about separating the steering and suspension from the braking forces, allowing the suspension to continue to be compliant even when hard on the brakes. Normally a fork would compress and you'd run out of suspension travel (or at least the soft bit).
Since hard braking throws 95%+ of the bikes weight onto the front wheel, I would like to know how how you are going to stop the front suspension from diving.
COMPLIMENTI A BIMOTA PER QUESTA BELLISSIMA MOTO ESERCIZIO DI STILE INEGUAGLIABILE...... MIN 0,39 LO SCARICO ARROW E' STUPENDO SI SPOSA PERFETTAMENTE ALLA MOTO LO SCARICO ORIGINALE E' INGUARDABILE
they should make a ram air intake that looks just like the exhaust, so we can confuse people when they are trying to tell which is the front. its already got front swing arm.
I saw this model at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It looked and sounded awesome. Yes it’s expensive but not compared to the equivalent super car model and if you had to choose only one toy to have in the garage it helps to justify the investment. 👍
As a Bimota owner (SB6R), I initially thought this was ugly as f*** from the release pictures. But change the exhaust and tail hanger/tidy, and my word........ that thing is insane. Just unfortunate that it costs about 5 times more than my SB6R! 🤣
5 times? I had an sb6 which was 35 grand new in 94. Probably 45 grand in today's dollars. That damn thing was 90 pounds lighter than the stock gsxr. Oh to be young again and hop on this beast would be otherworldly!
"Me and Chris NEED a day on this" 🤣🤣🤣 Yes - I bet you do and I can't think of anyone more deserving. Get it done guys. I would love to see you lot using one of these like the village bike for the day. Mugello sounds nice.
I’d like to see you take it around Phillip Island, one of the fastest tracks in the world. I’ve taken a S1000RR around there and that was scary enough lol
Bi-Mo-Ta can't remember their names it's been so long. Something like bitsy, mozzarella, & tamburini. They were the heads of successful Italian motorcycles. This company's gone under more than once. One time building me my dream machine, a two-stroke V-Twin 500cc fuel injected wheelie machine. Yeah that bankrupt them. ☹️ Truly the Lamborghini motorcycles. I remember the KB-1. The rolling chassis without engine and electrics, was $10,000. And those were 1970s dollars. If I die and come back as a motorcycle, I hope it's a BIMOTA!!!
The review is good but it could have been more detailed, something more about the front end. Still it is good. When are you gonna review the bimota KB4.
Some lucky few will have it in their living room next to the TV, I guess. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. What's the music, artist and title anyone please.
Lucky b*+&£! Any vacancies at Bike World?! You explained that the ABS and TC had been recalibrated but it sounds like the rider's brain also needs recalibrating before taking this monster on track. Some of the early shots in the video showed the bike fitted with an Arrow race exhaust but we only saw you on the homologated version - did you get to ride the tweaked one too?
How come the supercharger doesn’t chirp away like a mad thing all the time like it does on the standard H2 🤔??? Also BMW have been doing anti-dive Telelever front ends for years and a damn sight cheaper than that 🤷🏻♂️?? If I had £60k going spare I’d be looking for a 1299 Panigale Superleggera 😍!
Bike world always a breath of fresh air among the other reviewers I follow that mainly read off a spec sheet It’s also nice to see a bike without a sub 800cc parallel in it as well 🥱
@@BikeWorldTVshow top work lads, there is only so much of watching Matt Hancock you can bear before you realise that you’re right in your estimations that he’s a massive wanker.
Same Thank God for upload, i was on a work do earlier bored in hotel nothing on except The Fifth element so at least got something interesting to watch with this upload
Since kawasaki owns bimota, I guess that kawasaki send their engine ti Italy and ordered them to build a really unique and expensive chassis around it for a massive profit.
They took a mental bike, added a spark of Italian insanity and made it even crazier. What's not to like? Forza Italia!
My God!
Indicators. Lights. Mirrors. Licence plate.
Street legal? Must be.
That bike looks like a genuine Transformer.
Mind blowing motorcycle.

This was glorious. Love Bimota, thank you for making and sharing this video.
Looks like it’s been designed by 4 different people who never met.
I agree. A Japanese in an Italian outfit. But with looks of a Ducati and reliability of a Kawasaki. There should be buyers. A few years down the line I wouldn't be surprised to find the front swingarm on the original H2.
Hahahaha agree
Ugly as sin they’d have to give me 60k to take it😂
It was designed? 😉
Its called CLASS & CULTURE 😊
I like the looks (aside from the stock exhaust) but I’d like to hear more details about the front end. I like it when companies are willing to try something different from conventional forks.
It's not a greatly new idea, although looks like a nicely refined implementation :-)
Wonder why it was not ridden with the Bimota arrow exhaust pictured at 0;39
Yeah I wonder how it compares to BMW telelever in terms of feel and performance.

@@JelloThatsMellow He rode off into the sunset on a Honda 90 grateful to still have his life! (...that's almost what I did after selling my Blackbird.) 🙂
Even tho the weight is reduced, it still looks heavy when turning partly because of the long wheelbase
think the base is shorter than standard, same approach as the KB4...
I would kill for one of those. it is just the bollocks. well done to bimota 👏👏👏👏
Always loved the Tesi formula 🙂
Yes this bike need a serious track to let it all out. It looks stunning, that front end is something else.

Great vid & a truly incredible machine. I bet they've already sold them all already regardless of the price.
Awesome. The Italians have a flair for styling. 🙂🙂
Love it! I hope you can convince Bimota to lend you one to test at a nice racetrack…
I remember the Tesi from years ago 😆
But it was nothing like that!! 😍
The future of Moto GP and WSBK is going to improve even more! Faster lap times by phenomenal riders! Can't wait!
Yes a bigger course would suit it just fine. Love that engine!
it's impressive, H2 is already impressive, this one is on another level.
Dream bike

Perfect combo.😁
Nice to see "shell suit" riding gear making a comeback!
Just learnt something new ,, every day is a bonus,
Kawasaki own 49 % of Bimota 😊, it looks stunning ,
Imagine turning up to a bike meet on that.
Looks incredible with that beautiful front end and swing arm.
Thank you Bimoto!! 🫶🏽
Some lovely styling cues and you have to salute the powerplant. The front end is innovative and that's good to see. $90K USD is a show stopper though for the market. Way rather have the garage filled with a handful of $20K bikes.
What a great collaboration
I honestly thought it would be more expensive 😂 Well done Bike World 👍 Keep being awesome
What? It’s ridiculous cost 20k more then the 5 bedroom home and land I’m living in 🤣
@Thumper I thought it would be 100k-120k rather than 60k hahaha. Wow... new ways!!! Aside from the number plate and the exhaust.
It looks absolutely insane looking and I love it. Looks like an Italian stealth fighter.
Soooo nice, I'd love one.
The Bimota looks like from another star
Is it me or are the exhaust end cans more suited to refuse collection?
I like bikes with a long wheelbase on the track, you can have much more fun on the throttle. I couldn't care less about lap times - just the fun of it.
But I like the backend sliding around ... when someone like Bagnaia is doing it. 😂
I wish they had a number for the weight
"massive weight reduction" 😂
214KG wet vs Kawasaki’s 238. (Supposedly)
Of course the back end will lift. The geometry of the front pivot point do stop/reduce the front end dive. But the back wheel will lift under braking.
Would've been good to have a camera setup to film the front end under braking.
It looks like a really high tech push-me-pull-me.
Schitterend!, lekker anders en eigenwijs, I love it
The way that thing pulls from 100 to 200 is fucking terrifying.
Styling lets it down, but it’s a Bimota!
The way the bike turns on the circuit on the looks of it and the overall design… I’ll be surprised if they sell over 30 world wide.
AWESOME AMAZING FANTASTIC

Normally a fork would compress and you'd run out of suspension travel (or at least the soft bit).
Forks diving is actually an advantage. The rake/geometry is steepened and the bike turns better. So brake dive isnt all bad
Since hard braking throws 95%+ of the bikes weight onto the front wheel, I would like to know how how you are going to stop the front suspension from diving.
I'm not a Kawasaki fan but Bimota? :) wow

hub center steering
