I feel like I shouldn’t but I love the looks of this bike. If I were to spend a lot on an Italian exotic, I’d get this. Perfect engine to actually take advantage of. Can’t take advantage of a V4R or RSV4 Factory or MV1000RR. Good stuff Bimota!!!
Looks retro while still also looking modern and not like a gimmick. I also like the Japanese powerplant which should help a great deal in longterm ownership costs. It's sad that the engines are just such boring flat plane I4's. I'd love to see the crossplane R1 engine in this bike for some added character.
I want to love it but that mid shape down its side is 100% an upside down banana and I can't unsee it. If it were a smooth angle without an odd upward twist towards the front it'd be bang on!
Damn sounds like a Old Benelli Tornado Tre 1130 with the radiator under the seat, the Italians always design it better and cooler🥲👌🏾 I love it we get this and 2 New MV Agusta’s with similar styling
Like every BiMoTa and Italian bikes in general the true beauty shines in its details. The only thing I'm questioning is, why didn't they fit the zx10 engine in ?
This is very Bimota. On paper it doesn’t make sense (if you don’t get the Bimota thing), and It gets us talking. Not for me, but I applaud its originality and that it exists none the less.
I love Bimotas. Db1 bd2 yb5 . Kb1 Tessi1d and yb8 are some of the most stunning machines to name a few but I’m afraid this one really misses the mark visually.
Agreed, I could not build one myself, but am I the only one who thinks that we are stuck in the ‘ugly age’ of biking 3:03 ? Only my perspective, I’m not out to wind anyone up.
I think I'd rather have a KB-2 laser TT-100. You know with the GPZ 550 engine in it. Yanked the 16-in and put 17 in radial wide wheels on it, TZ-250 handling, via the 52-in wheelbase, and the 22° of steering head rake. Yes I would ditch the 40,mm quick release front suspension. To something inverted. But having constant chain tension, anywhere in my suspension, Should spoil you. All carbon fiber pieces, with a few tweaks, it's track day King.
Initially, I thought it was a bit Marmite but by the end I quite like it apart from the ‘specimen jar’ brake reservoir which always gets me. Pricey though…
Name of the tune and artist please. Almost forgot (mesmerised by the tune), the bike is indeed a bargain considering the engineering that goes into the bike.
Now that is an oddball motorcycle! Would love to meet the individual who decided to spend their 30k on that creation! Neither bike nor prospective owner could be accused of being "cookie cutter".. So does Bimota now only build bikes with Kawasaki underpinnings? If so, I can't wait for the zx10 version
Not for me , it looks as if they've taken the best bikes of the last ten years and slapped them all together. And what's with the massive round headlight?
30K ? So in the price league of : M1000RR, R1M (also carbon), V4SP2, RSV4, way better bikes with better components than the KB4. The 1000SX costs 12k, no way there is for 18k worth of materials on the KB4. It's 5k too high mostly because of the Bimota name. They would sell more at 25k. And the potential upcoming Yamaha R9 at around 15k would make the KB4 near obsolete in the near same power near same weight category but for half the price. And for the KB4 retro looks you get the 10k cheaper and better looking more powerful Speed Triple 1200 RR (also a better bike and with Öhlins electronic suspension).
It looks very other like all bike from Bimota i like them in the 80/90 there built the best bike in handling, there dont shake in high speed like the other bikes, you can buy in this time, but the price are allways high, this bike here i dont now how it ride?! but first the Monster big exauhst musst be change to a small one!! Sorry for my bad english best wish Reiner from Germany
yes you pay v4s with race kit money for a reskin kawasaki z1000 what a steal should based it on a v2 or a mv f800 if i want a japanese inline 4 i will get a japanese inline 4.
So it's the weight of a 600...and pretty much the power of a 600 as well. Why the fuck did they put this engine in when Kawasaki offers their ZX10R with over 200 hp?
I am watching the video and the bike looks awesome, muscled and big, and I am thinking, this might actually feel nice to ride. I am imagining myself on it and not cramped up like all the latest sportbikes, and for a few seconds I feel happy. And then Chad is like : "dimensions of a 600", like that is a good thing. Why Chad, why are you doing this? :(
I owned a Bimota YB10 Diecj in the early 90's, it was beautiful. The KB4 is pig ugly & that's an insult to a pig, got to be the most hideous looking Bimota ever made & that includes the Mantra.
It looks like something that has just melted into a lump of... something. The Triumph Speed Triple 1200RR is a way more successful design where they fusion old with new. This Bimota thing just looks like a soggy mess in comparison in my eyes.
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats,...that's a lie we lost a dog and a cat recently due to life events. I still have a cat, the point being my cat exclusively spews on my expensive rug,...and the spew looks like this bike. 🤷♂️
I really like the look of this bike. it's so unique. It looks retró and futuristic at the same time 👍
The fact that the mechanical pieces are all Kawasaki got me good and the looks is great…welldone Bimota a bike nothing canned like.
When you see that ultra impressive b inscription in various places including the top yoke, you know it oozes in quality with a sting in the tail!
One word"what a beautiful machine" the technology and the colors. Everything.i like him greetings from 🇳🇱 HOLLAND.
I am hooked on this Bimota content, I hope you guys cover the dirt bike as well.
Sounds like an awesome combination of torque/power, chassis dimensions and light weight - shame I'll never get to ride one! 😭
It’s cool. I like all the modern / retro bikes coming through. Something a bit different 👍🏻
I love it. One of the things I miss about older superbikes is how much physically larger they are than new bikes, this bike has that girthy quality.
This is the most beautiful bike I have ever seen!!!!! And I'm not even into sports.
O boze dragi,prekrasna je,prekrasna!!!
Bike looks awesome. And nice shirt, Chad.
I think it looks great. I would love to see what they could do with a Tuono or an RSV4.
Probably not much.
Looks retro while still also looking modern and not like a gimmick.
I also like the Japanese powerplant which should help a great deal in longterm ownership costs. It's sad that the engines are just such boring flat plane I4's. I'd love to see the crossplane R1 engine in this bike for some added character.
Why not use the ZX10R engine?
I want to love it but that mid shape down its side is 100% an upside down banana and I can't unsee it.
If it were a smooth angle without an odd upward twist towards the front it'd be bang on!
Damn sounds like a Old Benelli Tornado Tre 1130 with the radiator under the seat, the Italians always design it better and cooler🥲👌🏾 I love it we get this and 2 New MV Agusta’s with similar styling
My weird dream garage:
23’ Bimota KB4
23’ Indian FTR Sport
23’ Moto Guzzi V85TT Travel
Mine :
Arch Moto Method 143
Ducati Superleggera V4
upcoming Bmw R1300GS Adventure (for travel and daily commute)
Love the retro look of that bike
I think it looks absolutely spectacular. I wish I had the money.
Like every BiMoTa and Italian bikes in general the true beauty shines in its details.
The only thing I'm questioning is, why didn't they fit the zx10 engine in ?
Yeah? Can anyone answer this?
@@wanderlpnw I would imagine the 1000SX engine is half the price.
For the torque in the low rev'... 😉
This engine with the weight of a 600 must be amazing to ride
It looks like something I drew in class back in the 90's
This is very Bimota. On paper it doesn’t make sense (if you don’t get the Bimota thing), and It gets us talking. Not for me, but I applaud its originality and that it exists none the less.
Looks great; aside from the side panels near the seat unit especially in the dark panel color vs matching white body color
I ❤️❤️❤️ it!
I can't wait to see the 2025 Bimota - Kawasaki World Superbike!
this looks absolutely gorgeous
you really sold me the machine. even if the look is not my thing i d throw 30 k without half the remorse i would have on a ducati.
80's reimagined bike is what I was waiting for the whole time, finally it's here and it looks awesome; even though I won't be able to afford it 😅
Absolutly incredible bike. Love it. Will def. try to get one😀
Reminds me of the original KB1, with that styling.
Great review thank you. Great informative style 👍
I immediately hated the looks, but they grew on my as the video went on. Definitely reminds me of the old YB4 and Vdue!
Looking forward to seeing it for myself too👍
I think I'd rather have a KB-2 laser TT-100. You know with the GPZ 550 engine in it. Yanked the 16-in and put 17 in radial wide wheels on it,

Should spoil you. All carbon fiber pieces, with a few tweaks, it's track day King.
Adrian Morton designed the Tornado with a radiator under the seat, it look allot slimmer than this bike, this bike is allot lighter that that was.
Excellent 👍
Super belle machine...! 🤤🤤🤤🤤❤️💞
Retro design of the bike looks great, but Bimota could have used the engine from zx10r insted of 1000sx
Looks like a caricature of something from the 60’s/70’s.
Beautiful.
Sounds amazing although, to my eyes, not Bimota's prettiest bike.
Just the seat - not sure why the tan colour but still a classy looking machine.
Quite the looker.
Bike is fine as well
Cyclops that thing is modern retro af
Looks like Stevie Wonder built it in the dark with handcuffs on
Sweet! I suppose there are fans to deal with radiator heat when not moving at a good pace?
Haha that provides thrust in the direction of translation for added backyard tunning. (There has to be one)
Fab bike and review 👌
I like it.
I prefer the song that you put in the bachground than the bike. By the way, what is the name of the artist and the song that you used?
It's library music, the bike doesn't sound that great.
There’s no belly pan. That is a little different for a fully faired bike.
yum yum drooling like homer simpson🤤🤤🤤
Boy Chris really let himself go. No wonder he kept his hat on with that ponytail all these years
Now that is an oddball motorcycle! Would love to meet the individual who decided to spend their 30k on that creation! Neither bike nor prospective owner could be accused of being "cookie cutter"..
So does Bimota now only build bikes with Kawasaki underpinnings? If so, I can't wait for the zx10 version
I love it.
What sucks is, now you will never see an Italian engine in a Bimota again, only Kawasaki
Is it me or does the round headlight ruin the look of the bike? Otherwise its awesome
13' panigale R is less weight and smaller than a 13' gsxr 600
Plus 205hp but like 185-195 at the rear wheel
The bikes awesome too
Love it...
cost 30k, ok, do you ever considered that will value 30k and more in 2 years like every bimota?
It doesn't matter, one will never be seen out in the wild anyway with a £30k asking price.
Nice review though.
similary priced to Ducatis...
Hey “CRISS” when will be the bext video will come on carwow Vs bikeworld ❤️🔥
And can give which bike is next on carwow against matt😁
Not for me , it looks as if they've taken the best bikes of the last ten years and slapped them all together.
And what's with the massive round headlight?
I love it
I don’t understand why they wouldn’t use the engine from the ZX10R
The static bike had a horrible exhaust. The bike on track looked much better😍
Dealer network? Best!
30K ? So in the price league of : M1000RR, R1M (also carbon), V4SP2, RSV4, way better bikes with better components than the KB4.

#livingroomart
You could buy two of them for one H2 Tesi.
ill forgive the price
Reminds me of Honda’s CB1100R from the 80’s. Which is strange, because I like the Honda but I don’t like that Bimota. Nah, not for me.
Okay let's all be honest. I bet everyone thought the bike was based off the Triumph speed triple 1200 RR at first glance
Now make a 150cc version of this and it can beat the like of yamaha r15 🤟
yes you pay v4s with race kit money for a reskin kawasaki z1000 what a steal should based it on a v2 or a mv f800 if i want a japanese inline 4 i will get a japanese inline 4.
Nice bike, but whats that horrid piece of black plastic along the side.
So it's the weight of a 600...and pretty much the power of a 600 as well. Why the fuck did they put this engine in when Kawasaki offers their ZX10R with over 200 hp?
Looks like it’s been styled by a car designer…..😂🙈🇬🇧
I am watching the video and the bike looks awesome, muscled and big, and I am thinking, this might actually feel nice to ride. I am imagining myself on it and not cramped up like all the latest sportbikes, and for a few seconds I feel happy.
And then Chad is like : "dimensions of a 600", like that is a good thing.
Why Chad, why are you doing this? :(
because then its nimble and light?
No cycle sound, LOL.
I'd trade my RC8 in for it.
I owned a Bimota YB10 Diecj in the early 90's, it was beautiful. The KB4 is pig ugly & that's an
insult to a pig, got to be the most hideous looking Bimota ever made & that includes the Mantra.
Now you pay more and they make it unreliable 😂
I was going to buy one of these but that baby poo brown seat put me off... actually i probably wouldn't be able to afford the seat.
It looks like something that has just melted into a lump of... something. The Triumph Speed Triple 1200RR is a way more successful design where they fusion old with new. This Bimota thing just looks like a soggy mess in comparison in my eyes.
😂 p̾r̾o̾m̾o̾s̾m̾
How can you pay this much for a motorbike and still get these god awful massive indicators from the 1990s
A ten pinter
Zx10 motor
I have 2 dogs and 2 cats,...that's a lie we lost a dog and a cat recently due to life events. I still have a cat, the point being my cat exclusively spews on my expensive rug,...and the spew looks like this bike. 🤷♂️
I love bimota but that thing is fugly on a new level
"Shame its so ugly..."
