To buy a Compass card, you cab visit any SkyTrain station or obtaining it from various locations, such as Shoppers Drug Mart or other small stores
To add funds to your Compass card, you can do so at the locations mentioned above or, online at www.compasscar..., or at designated ticket vending machines.
When using a Compass card, simply tap it on the card reader when boarding a bus or entering/exiting a SkyTrain station.
It's important to be aware of the fare zones as they affect the trip cost. You can find more information about fare zones at www.translink.....
There are numerous benefits to using a Compass card, such as discounted fares, automatic reload options, and the ability to track your transit usage.
Ensure that you recharge your card if the balance is low, at least 2 hours before your transit journey. Otherwise, you won't be able to access the SkyTrain stations.
    Some Tips
Here are a few tips: consider using a day pass if you plan to travel extensively in a day, opt for a monthly card if you commute five days a week, and for occasional trips, the stored value option may be more suitable.
Also the bus cash fare ticket is $3.00 if you are lucky you can get the entire day ticket also Keep in mind that tapping in on a bus from one zone to another is charged as a single zone.
Furthermore, during weekdays after 6:30 pm, as well as on weekends and statutory holidays, all areas are considered as zone 1. This means that if you travel from zone 1 to zone 3, you will only be charged for a single zone fare.

Good day sister, I will be flying to vancouver from toronto for 3 days and I will take buses to travel around the city. I hope buy a $6 compass card from airport 7-11 store. Then I use airport WIFI to register the card and load the card money to buy a day pass. Will this will avoid the $5 airport added fee? Thanks.
