Believe it or not, Ramada Inns we’re considered kind of upscale back in the early seventies!!! Definitely I remember them being an upgrade to Holiday Inn in my dad’s hometown.

This is so interesting because I had been recommended a video earlier about how Elvis was attending the funeral and the pastor, nervously sang how great thou art and fumbled a little, and Elvis actually jumped into the song with the pastor and sang to everyone at the funeral.

What's crazy about this is that Elvis was attending his girlfriend's grandfather's funeral and Elvis has to rent a hotel room to stay out of sight. I'm sure everyone in this little town knew he was there and where he was within the first hour he arrived. When I saw pictures of those robes I couldn't believe Elvis ever wore those. I thought they had been a gift from a fan but after seeing him wearing one I understand why he would wear them. It doesn't take long to get ready and probably pretty comfortable. Of course flashy enough for Elvis to get away with wearing a robe in public.
Loved it!! I never get tired of seeing the old locations. Having photos to match the locations is always the best. Awesome!! Thought it was strange, but it looked like the stairs were carpeted?

I have been watching lots of videos made by RUclips channels of where Elvis stayed, the venues for concerts and other locations connected with Elvis and a lot of years have passed and yes they have not seen the best of times since the early 70’s

Still cant work out Elvis and Ginger.. his final year was so strange and confusing and his death and final hours a mystery of conflicting stories..
What's there to work out! Ginger was and still is a total Hottie!! And I don't hear much on conflicting stories on his death.

Elvis Presley death of August before his died and he were attending to funeral at that time
Wow Elvis looks really great in the pic of him getting into the car...and the kaftan looks wonderful on him ...what little u see. I bet it was beautiful colours! Bit different for him but appropriate. How did he go from that smiling photo to being dead just months later!!!? 😔
I know its all irrelevant now but theres been contradictions as to when Elvis was found dead. The timeframe. Lots of odd things that you think at the very least Gracelands wouldv been sealed off...everyone told to remain before statements taken ...and a proper investigation done...he was Elvis ffs! I thought if a young person died unexpectedly (they hadnt done the autopsy so he couldve been killed for all the police knew!) It was treated suspiciouly & procedures followed.
It was like, omg Elvis is dead, get an ambulance & get him out to the hospital...a casual look about the place (by the police im presuming and hope!) and end of story...he "probably" died of a heart attack & drugs!!! Too vague for me...noone "probably" dies from something...
Esposito changed his story a few times...ginger didnt care...they said RIGOR MORTIS had already set in!! That takes hours....all bit weird. Too easy to say he dropped dead coz of his lifestyle an health issues. He played racketball the night before so he wasnt that grossly obese as some would have u believe.
NOT saying he was murdered but the easiest way is to poison someone or inject a drug that gives a heart attack ....murder wasnt even considered ...which is standard practice when a dead person is found unexpectedly.
I look at the picture of Elvis smiling happily and looking fit and cant help thinking was there more to it. Yes he had health issues, drug issues but so did many rock stars in the 60s onwards.

That old motel don't look like the Ramada Inn did. it's a real eye sore these days. I guess I'd forgot Elvis stayed here in Harrison.

Man that place is a complete dump now. Back 45 years ago though it was, of course, much newer. The nice thing is it looks like much of it is basically the same as it was in 1977.
