I thought it was a pun at first seeing how the brows were fanned out but I get it now haha
At first few hour, they left them spiked up like that for the brow setting their form, after 24h u can u spoolie and reshape depends on ur preference.
Agreed, it didn't need to be brushed up like that. After the relaxer all she really needed to do was put it back to the usual shape and it would look cleaner

the purple is more toward the outline/limbal ring of the eye. That part can have different shades.

Kahli is SO good at what she does. She microbladed my eyebrows years ago. I've never felt more confident and beautiful. She's an angel!
I own a salon. I can’t find ANY insurance company that offers insurance for this service, and the “training” isn’t recognised at all- pretty dodgy! . They use lash lift solution which isn’t supposed to touch the skin, also all that brushing causes micro tears in the skin which isn’t good when applying the solutions.
Thank you for sharing this. It's nice to hear the truth from someone in the industry.
My insurance covers it. We are also required to be trained/certified in lamination. I’m in Oregon. Places like California will only cover it if you’re a cosmetologist...And it’s up to you to ensure that you’re not using a product with the same ingredients as lash lift solution. There is actual chemistry in the better training courses for this service.
Buy from a reputable brand that discloses the difference in formula, why it’s different and brow anatomy, pH.
Also I don’t use a spooly to apply any of the steps, just a soft hair brush which was in my training.
The only step that has the potential to cause sensitivity is step 1. If you get your hair done, then you expose yourself to the same level of possible sensitivities. After step 1, the other steps are ultra mild, bringing the pH of the lash back to normal and seal up the lash follicle.
There is nothing dangerous or wrong with this service. Pay good money for high quality training and products from impeccable formulators. Mine comes from Europe which goes through ultra strict EU requirements.

So recently I’ve heard of a few ladies getting - dry hair and hair loss after getting this treatment done. I don’t know if it’s due to the process? But it’s scary to hear their brows now have bald patches!

so does this essentially stunt the growth of your brow hair? I know she said the treatment can last up to 8-12 weeks but my eyebrow hair typically grows in 3. The new growth wouldn't necessarily be 'laminated' or permed so like yeah.. how does that work?

I use an Elmer's glue stick and glue my eyebrow hair in place at night while I sleep. I wake up, wash it off and wha-lah..... I just do mine in a natural placement. Mine grow in all directions, and it drives me nuts. This solution has really changed the brow game for me! *And after you train your brows for a while you don't have to do it every night.😊

Wow! This is totally new for me. I just found a reel on IG and I browsed about it. I never knew that look was done with chemicals. I have large thick eyebrows but different that her. I comb them to be like that but I wish there is a natural alternative to fix the look.

peppapig yes I get your point but it actually doesn’t have to be brushed straight up like that for everyone, the procedure it’s actually done to each person’s request and needs, for example I do mines slightly up and curved to sides so they look done and pretty but not “artificial “ it just makes your overall look more put together, saves you time in the morning and of course it’s not as expensive as microblading
I love this look!!!!! I literally do this with soap or the benefit 24 hour setter 10/10 recommend

I just got brow lamination on 9/1/2020. I have thin, fluffy brows. The stylist gave me Eugene Levy brows! After the third day, I was able to comb them a bit more to the side vs. straight up. We also dyed and shaped them afterward. I highly recommend it!
People have been doing eyebrow relaxers for *YEARS* lol. This is not revolutionary. I just wish she’d get an eyebrow threading and tint, all done. Bc this shape isn’t it.
