@@sleepysartorialist Its like grass. You have to encourage growth and trim, ad nauseam. Nature needs maintaining...or ya end up being that trashy neighbor. Hygiene is important.
Miss S I agree but there are so so so many different types of beauty! keeping your hair in its natural state doesn’t make you a “trashy neighbor”. Overall hygiene is important, though.
I own a salon. I can’t find ANY insurance company that offers insurance for this service, and the “training” isn’t recognised at all- pretty dodgy! . They use lash lift solution which isn’t supposed to touch the skin, also all that brushing causes micro tears in the skin which isn’t good when applying the solutions.
My insurance covers it. We are also required to be trained/certified in lamination. I’m in Oregon. Places like California will only cover it if you’re a cosmetologist...And it’s up to you to ensure that you’re not using a product with the same ingredients as lash lift solution. There is actual chemistry in the better training courses for this service. Buy from a reputable brand that discloses the difference in formula, why it’s different and brow anatomy, pH. Also I don’t use a spooly to apply any of the steps, just a soft hair brush which was in my training. The only step that has the potential to cause sensitivity is step 1. If you get your hair done, then you expose yourself to the same level of possible sensitivities. After step 1, the other steps are ultra mild, bringing the pH of the lash back to normal and seal up the lash follicle. There is nothing dangerous or wrong with this service. Pay good money for high quality training and products from impeccable formulators. Mine comes from Europe which goes through ultra strict EU requirements.
@@minevraindigo7856 I agree, however, the notion that something needs to be "improved" becomes problematic. What was deemed needing improvement, and why, in the first place? Just a question I would have. I know this is about eyebrows, however, it also speaks to how we she ourselves and each other.

I think what I would have done with this is to trim the hairs shorter so they don't have a chance to curl, then done ombre powder shading or microblading to fill in so if you want a finished brow look, just a layer of clear or tinted gel to give it a more controlled "fluffy" look. Or at least trim the hairs to a proper shape if you are going to laminate them straight up.
peppapig yes I get your point but it actually doesn’t have to be brushed straight up like that for everyone, the procedure it’s actually done to each person’s request and needs, for example I do mines slightly up and curved to sides so they look done and pretty but not “artificial “ it just makes your overall look more put together, saves you time in the morning and of course it’s not as expensive as microblading
