How do I set the drip coffee side to auto shut off?
Have you done a video comparing this to the ninja dual expresso maker? If not, which do you like better? I like ninja products but this looks good as well. Thanks

Thank you for this video! I just set this same machine up last night and was a bit worried because of the noise it was making when it was going through it’s normal set up routine with water run through, as directed in the instructions.

You missed a key step, actually the first step. The ENTIRE WATER CONTAINER on the espresso machine needs to be run through the machine first. It's the first "set up" step in the manual. I had problems getting the water hot, and when I called DeLonghi, the tech asked me, "Did you first do a complete rinse through the machine?" I had no idea what he was talking about because that step isn't in your video. Then I read the manual and, viola, there it was! Read that manual, and you'll see it.

Thanks for covering this machine. My wife needs the drip and I want the espresso a few times a wk. I was looking at this COM532M - it seems perfect - 15 bar pressure etc. My specific question to you is on the espresso side - what am I missing with this 2-in-1 machine vs the other espresso machines in the 400-799 price point??
maybe on others the espresso is timed to shut off, with this one you start and stop it yourself
