How are joints where it folds and pivots? The reason I'm asking is that my wife has one hand and she has the bose 700 and its really difficult for her to handle the headphones because the joints don't snap or lock in place.
Hi Stephen Knight, Bose has its own advantages. When I was doing research for ANC headphones there were 3 choices Bose, PXC550 and Sony. I chose Bose for my workflow. To me Bose was the clear winner in all aspects.

Hi in Bose QC45 joints are smooth and easliy it can be opened with one hand, No hassle. Hope this helps
I think the Bose sound better the the pxc 550 ii.
