Message from the author, Veronica Shoffstall. This poem has been plagiarized, bastardized, renamed, reworded, redesigned, expanded and reduced. But it is my work, which I wrote at the age of 19 and had published in my college yearbook. Why anyone would want to claim it is beyond me, but for what it's worth, I wrote it, and if I'd known it was going to be this popular, I'd have done a better job of it. - V.S.) living-little.com/family/favorite/poem.html#:~:text=Message%20from%20the%20author%2C%20Veronica,published%20in%20my%20college%20yearbook.
Borges never wrote this. The sentimentalism of this poem couldn't be further from what Borges thought about these topics. A better poem that shows what he thought about break ups is the two ones called 1964.
i did..and will more
Thank you Borges.
